In October we showed Jen’s at the NILE Gold Buckle Futurity. He won fourth overall. Today we received a check. He is a money earner now. We own the stallion and the mare. We have a weanling full brother that is available. This cross has been very good for us. This last Wednesday morning I found Jen’s with open wounds on his rib cage and his back leg. He is healing well. What a way to start and finish a week.

Finally got some pictures to show just how much white this little palomino has. I do see some hints of gold color. If she turns gold like her sire she will stand out in the crowd. I am looking forward to showing her next year. She is not for sale.

Yesterday was fun. Thank you to Lori, Sarah, Martha, Christen, and Sky. This yearling gelding did a great job at the Gold Buckle futurity. He is what our breeding program is about. Seventeen really nice horses in the class. Jen’s got third in halter and fourth overall. Please watch the round pen video.

Tomorrow Jen’s and I will be at the NILE Gold Buckle Futurity. This is the one class that will be the toughest for us. He has come a long ways.

Red first trailer load.

This red dun gelding is a long yearling. He has been the fastest at trailer loading. He walked right in. He is available and so far he is very gentle and willing.

Vegas first trailer loading

This is a black stud colt. His name is Vegas. He will be leaving us to go to western Texas soon. This was his first time. Tomorrow he will be ready to hop right in.
