A couple of our hives on property survived the bitter winter. Will be checking hives at our two other locations in Mason and Williamston next couple of days.

Today we made the clearing to what is Launch #1 on the Grand River, longest river in Michigan. So glad to announce MSU Conservation and River Steward Program will be using our site for outdoor classroom learning. Connected by Chris Greenshields and MSU Extension Master Garden program to learn what is here and preserve it as Stewards.

So it begins...learning more about nature, our oak savannah fen area, and what is making it honeybee heaven so we can learn more and be responsible naturalists conservation and produce beautiful honey in a pesticide free environment.

Whimsical Washtagnombe House delivered today to Red Ridge. Beautiful cedar wood craftmanship. Can't wait to tuck it in the Fen Preserve.

The honeybees have a near Heaven on Earth lifestyle. Lots of pollinator plants some that only grow in a fen area and others in an Oak Savannah area, blessed with both. #Definedbywater
