Let's talk about rattie diseases!

SDAV is an incredibly contagious virus, and is the main reason why I don't bring ratties to reptile/exotics expos, and why I don't allow outsiders to visit my rodentry.

This is one of the pathogens I test for anually, although thanks to certain...developments at the lab I have used for testing for the past 6 years, I may be unable to test as frequently going forward, which is incredibly disappointing (Looking at you, CRL 🙄 💩)

Pet rodents are not nasty or gross, and they deserve love just as much as a dog or cat or any "standard pet" does!!!

So, I did a thing! I have added German Shepherds to our breeding program but that will be 2 years down the road after her first heat.
