This is a complete make over for this mule deer it was found in a basement by just covered in mildew and coal smoke and residue from sitting for many many years his grand pa used to buy anything with antlers to make buttons and handles but Aaron wanted to restore this gem of a mule deer and I think it turned out great. Thanks for the opportunity to work on it.

Was a busy weekend getting skulls finished and sipping hot coffee. My process includes soaking them in hot water to loosen the flesh and fatty tissue. Next step is to remove the tissue. I then degreese it with a sinple pot of soap and water. I rinse and wash off any residue. Apply a coat of whitener and wrap in foil when its dry. Place over heat. Remove rinse and let dry.
