Hilltop Family Portuguese Water Dogs

This sweet boy came to Hilltop a few weeks ago. He is 18 months old, has passed his genetic testing and has good preliminary OFA results! In November when he turns two we will have him official OFA certified and he will be ready to father his first litter of pups! This guy is a curly coat, the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet, a lover of all food! He fits in great with our house hold and loves the kids! Hilltop’s Captain Elliott will be bred to Hilltop’s Mocha Latte Emmy Lou early 2023 dependent on OFA certification! We feel so lucky to have this sweet boy in our home and can’t wait for Hilltop’s next litter of sweet pups! Deposit forms are available upon request for this upcoming litter!

Hello friends, we have a pup that came back to us two days ago! She is from our last litter “Lucy.” The person who originally took her had a change of life plans recently and was no longer able to care for her.

She has been in our care for 3 days now. She is crate trained, is past the biting phase, is healthy and up to date on vaccines. She is very well socialized with other dogs and children. My kids just love her, but we have too many dogs! Please let me know if you are interested in this seeet girl! She was born January 17th.

We got about six inches of snow yesterday, Rolly got to participate in the snow day shenanigans with all the kids! Let’s face it - he thinks he IS one of the kids!! (Emmy stayed in the warm house and chilled!)

The pups are doing a great job weaning! All 10 are eating puppy food. Emmy still nurses them a few times a day as a treat. Pups will be 5 weeks old on Tuesday. I will be uploading individual pictures next week! There are still a few pups that are still looking for their forever homes!

Emmy and Rolly's puppies born January 17th will be ready to go to their forever homes on March 20th. Emmy had 10 healthy pups in this litter and 6 are still available!
