Check out this before and after progress so far! Following our PEMF sessions, we've incorporated stabilizing exercises, posture correction, and relaxation stretches. While there's still work to be done, the improvement is significant, and she's noticeably more comfortable. I'm looking forward to seeing her continued growth. 🩸⚡️ PRP and PEMF Therapy ⚡️🩸

Many people are looking at different and more holistic/long term options for their horses maintenance routine. 💉

While cortisone steroid injections have their time and place, especially if you’re looking for a quick pain management/relief, PRP is a regenerative therapy for pain management and treatment of chronic pain long term!

So what is PRP? Platelet Rich Plasma is a concentrate of the patients own blood which has been spun down to platelets. The concentration is then injected into the injured or damaged joint to accelerate the healing process. A couple days late but what a beautiful day I had the other day!☀️ I started the day pulsing a couple horses!⚡️⚡️

I also enjoyed visiting with Liz and Sarah! We discussed the importance of doing your ‘homework.’

Physical Therapist-prescribed exercises for self rehabilitation are pointless if only done during appointments. Continuous effort makes them effective.

While sending your horse off to a trainer can establish a strong foundation, it is insufficient if you don’t practice fundamentals regularly; consistency benefits both rider and animal.

This also applies to Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy. While all PEMF sessions are beneficial, maximum success comes from consistent sessions, proper conditioning, exercises, stretches, and nutrition pertaining to that particular horse.
