Canine Companions Rescue Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded in 2004 for the purpose of working with the community and area animal control agencies to promote the adoption of dogs without families. We also advocate spaying/neutering animals and provide support and education to the community regarding the proper care of dogs. If our adopters and our dogs are both happier after the ma

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our community. We put out the call for yarn last year and you guys graciously provided!
There have been lots of hats, scarves, mitts, gnomes, lovies, and of course, chickens, made to support CCRC.
The items are sold by our extremely benevolent friends at My New Favorite Thing who we’d also like to thank.
This year we’re donating hats to a local school where the need is great for warm items. This has been facilitated by the owner of MNFT, and we are grateful.
Since winter takes her sweet time up here, more hats with be donated for distribution made with the yarn that you folk’s graciously gave us. (There are lots for sale at the shop too!)
It truly takes a village and we here at CCRC are honored to be a part of it.

It never ends😔 This poor girl has a open wound around her neck that needs to be addressed ASAP‼️ Thank you to The Karens for getting her to safety and off the streets. We will take it from here- TEAMWORK🤩 We are struggling to find space for all the dogs in need but we are doing the best we can right now. We named this girl Anna💚 She will be getting all the medical needed to feel better.
