I am so loving this gelding!!! He had yet another GREAT ride today. The build in his confidence has truly been amazing. I am so thankful he will be staying an additional two weeks because he will be going out and about around the property and getting some outside exposure! Now that I feel he is ready, I look forward to spending this time with him to just continue building him up! ☁️

"Why am I being worked today lady?!?!" Is exactly what Prince is thinking too! Ha!
He had another good day. I didn't have anyone to send me forward in a driving session, so I worked on a few patterns at the walk and trot which was great because it got him moving forward without assistance which is the next goal!! 🙃
He is such a good c**t. He can be spicy during warmup, but is figuring things out each day.

I had a great ride on Teddy today. (SO did the cat lol! I will get to uoloading that soon! Haha)
Teddy is here to regain his topline and get worked more on the lighter note the next few weeks. He is such a good boy. The new feeding plan is working well for him too! It makes me happy. He is so laid back, and I really love having him here. 😍

Guapo and I had a great outing today!!! He was a little looky-loo, but honestly didn't do anything dumb, so that's good. He definitely likes being out that's for sure, he can really walk out and i love that when I am riding outside of the arena/roundpen setting. He would probably do better with someone else tagging along, but it was nice to take him out, alone, further than I did the first time. I plan to do just get outside miles on him now that I've figured him out undersaddle. He honestly is such a gentle giant. :)

I have so much trust in the horses I start. Some have different journeys, and some can handle more than others. However, I am SO DANG PROUD of both myself and Kristoff. We literally jumped ba****ck today as a cool down. He definitely has potential to be a jumper. He came in halterbroke!!! He is becoming one of the best little ponies I have had around!
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! :) The fact that I can still stick with it and jump ba****ck is pretty nifty too. ;)

I was reading a magazine article the other day and it talked about a cool "Star" 🌟 exercise that you can do with your horses to teach them to cross their shoulders over (haunch turn.) It also sets them up to pivot correctly on that hind inside leg.
I set it up today and it was a ton of fun and it was super cool feeling Gunnie start to really reach over. Like the article said, it doesn't happen overnight, but Gunnie did have the idea of moving shoulders so this was a really fun session to do with her today.
They call it the "Star Exercise" because you start with the top of the Star so to say. Make a line to your point, do a tight turn while applying leg, and then continue down the other "line."

I didn't have anyone around to record this session, however I will make sure to get this recorded this week. It's a good one. 👍

Someone had a baby tantrum during our passenger sessions yest**day. 😅😅
Not all days are smooth sailing haha.
When they have their little fits like this I just have my driver keep sending them forward. They figure it out. We had a good ride yest**day after the little fits. Silly Babies.

Updates might go through tomorrow! Everyone had great sessions today. Prince wanted to be a little t**d and was done when he was done and gave me a few little bucks. Lol. Nothing bad. Just a temper tantrum from an overgrown toddler. The girls Dos and Gunnie stood tied after their sessions while I worked Teddy. :)

I ended my night riding GOOSE boy though! That was nice. :)

Teddy's sessions definitely look different than the others and that's okay! We are doing a ton of long walks, serpentines, and just keeping things more low key as he needs the more low key training life right now. I'm working on building his top line, and seeing what works best for him. I'm getting him nice and soft in the bridle as well just getting him to round out slowly. We also did some board step overs today too! I will forever be the trainer that adjusts to what YOUR horse needs. Teddy Bear is a special boy!!! ❤️

This week has been SO wonderful for Cloud. He is doing so well undersaddle. Walk, trot, AND loping is going so well. He has gained so much confidence while being here that we are now ready to do some outside riding this next week. He isn't near as spooky, those holes I feel were filled, and now it's just keeping things going! He actually is really nice to ride. Super smooth and that lope of his is pretty awesome after being so reactive at the lope before. ;)
Sometimes taking a step back to see what the horse needs is definitely important. It was a total game changer for him. I found what he needed and now it's all going up from here! 😁

Took the big guy out today! 😊
He seriously is such a fun horse to have around so far! I warmed him up in the roundpen first. I love how big the roundpen is!! It's like a mini arena but I can also use it as an actual roundpen too.
Anyway, he is such a smooth boy! I can't wait to continue to put the miles on him! 😍

I've gone 17hrs without being able to have use of my phone. I ended up having to buy a new phone today, and am finally slowing getting logged back into things. :(
Thankfully I was able to get photos and videos of today through a friend's phone. I will update as videos/photos come through. It might take a little bit to get caught up, but stay tuned!

I made today work out! Between going out of town this morning and getting back to the barn to work the others! I did a groundwork day and it was really good for everyone! I've been doing a ton of saddle work and riding that it was good to go back to the barn and just work everyone on the ground. They need that sometimes. ❤️

This right here proves the foundation I put on these horses. This girl was wild! She had some weekly sessions last year, then came to my barn for 30 days.
She's been just being a horse and sitting since April when I went up last, and today she truly showed that she retained everything she ever learned! I'm so proud of this filly!
