Had again some pool fun today with Mojo & Evie. Mojo is totally into swimming and according to the trainer ONE FIT K9 'he is super fast'! Love this driven boy💕

Recently we lost two of our laying hens: one was stolen by humans and one was stolen by a hawk😢. And so I purchased 10 new chicks. Of course the dogs (except Mojo) already had a 'proper' introduction. Especially Jessie is completely smitten by them🙈💕

Dock diving lessons for Evie again, but to 'spice it a little bit up' for her we brought in the competition: Mojo!!!

Within no time Mojo was 'jumping' from the ramp and swimming to retrieve the ball. He enjoyed it so much and couldn't get enough!!! It was awesome to see his willingness to work and eagerness to retrieve his favorite toy, the squeaky ball!!!💪🥰

And Evie? She enjoyed his company and ran with Mojo to try to catch the ball. But no swimming for this baby girl today🙈 A well, maybe next time😁

Had some 'dock diving' fun today!!! It was Evies first dock dive lesson, so she first had to get comfortable with the dock dive setting ONE FIT K9 and being in the pool. It was so much fun!!! Thank you Bonnie.
Next time Mojo or Jessie will come too, for more fun & some competition💪😍

Extreme heat (dog) safety

With temperatures around the 100 we have put some extra safety measures into place:

- play and training sessions only early in the morning when it is the coolest part of the day
- short potty breaks during the day and as far as possible only in the shade
- always enough water available.
- airco and/or ceiling fans are on 24/7
- they get ice cubs multiple times a day.
- I don't have a cooling mat, but I have put damp towels on the floor.
- no car rides, and never leave the dog behind in the car!!!!
- no trips to the vet, store if I can avoid it. The asphalt in the parking lot gets extreme hot and can burn your dogs paws in seconds.

The Dutch played against French and it ended in a tie. Not bad, not bad at all.

Before I always picked up the groceries with Jessie as my 'co-pilot'. But today also Evie was coming along. She did very good and I loved having her accompany us❤️🩷. We sure going to do this more often😄

So Jessie is showing me my 'dog' caps.

The 'dog mom' one I got from my nephew when he visited us. And today I received the cap with the White Shepherd from Ventures family. Venture is doing wonderful and her humans can't be happier with this, in so many ways, precious puppy🧡

Having only one puppy has its advantages. Today Jane, Venture and I went for a longer walk and had some rest moments in between . We were gone for 30 min. With 10 puppies each individually, that would be 300 min (5 hours!!!)😳😂

First Time Pool for Mojo

And today I ran with Jessie & Jane 🩷🩵 and Martijn. Both J’s did a great job. They were so in sinc with each other. And it’s so awesome that I can keep up with Martijn this way💪 ❤️However I already feel my muscles ache😱 🤒

Not even two weeks ago… I wished we lived a little closer to the ocean so I could go every day😍

So we are having a lot of ☔️ these days and it doesn’t seem to stop any time soon. So today we finished our morning play & walk with some nosework inside🥰

Little Jessie when still with her breeder in Serbia. Loving to play with the ball back then already a fact😃❤️

Swimming lessons yesterday. Mojo really wants to (standing at the other side of the pond) but he fell in the pond when he was a little puppy so he’s not sure he likes the swim. So Jessie, after throwing in all the balls in the middle of the pond, swam for the first time in her life. We are sooooo proud of her❤️❤️❤️ I am sure Jane will follow soon. Mijne is a big NO, getting his paws wet is the max for him🤣🤣🤣

Being sooooo busy…i almost forgot🤣🤣🤣 Jessie, Jane, Mijne and at the back Mojo. This year is going to be especially an exciting year for Sunnyside FWF because it’s puppy time!!’ 🙈🐶❤️

Find the ball (‘zoek’ in Dutch): Sunday morning exercise for all four dogs. This is such a great energy drainer and the dogs really love it❤️ I throw 3 balls over the fence of the dog pen into the wood, and then open the door for them to go and find. During the week it’s only with the three oldest because Jane is still in training so the two of us spend half an hour every morning with training and play of course😉😍

I litter Wynter Spirit Kennel!!!

Went to visit Mojo’s White Swiss Shepherd babies at Wynter Spirit Kennel yesterday. I am even more in love with then now. So beautiful, great pigment and all so relaxed. Short coat and some long coat. Two male and one female available🥰🥰🥰 Both parents are tested healthy. Daily morning walk with the dogs on our land❤️ Mojo with black collar, Mijne with green and Jessie with a pink collar. So that you know😉

Our sweet Jessie is hitting puberty big time! She doesn’t listen, sees the cats as play prey and Mijne is her big ‘biting and climbing’ pall. But we still love her❤️❤️❤️

Our beautiful pack, Mojo, Jessie and Mijne. Every day we play fetch and walk with them on our 23 acres. We also train them obedience evey day and they really like that. It keeps their body and mind in shape.
