Every year, about 100,000 dogs die because they ride in the back of trucks. And that’s just the number of dogs that die—even more get badly hurt.

Truck beds don’t protect dogs from the weather. On hot days, the metal floor can get so hot it burns their paws or skin. If a dog is left in the sun without water or shade, it can get heatstroke very quickly.

Even though dogs might look happy with the wind in their faces, dirt, dust, and other stuff in the air can hurt their eyes, ears, and lungs.

Never tie your dog to the truck bed. If the dog falls or jumps out, it could get strangled by the leash. This can happen in an accident or even if the dog just tries to jump out.

If your dog has to ride in the back of a truck, put it in a crate. Make sure the crate is tied down tightly so it can’t move around or fall out. This will help protect your dog from the wind and weather.

Start early and stay consistent—it’s the secret to big-dog success! 💪💖

Even though they’re big, these 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 are big softies at heart! 😍
They just need a little guidance and LOTS of love.

Teaching them 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 and good 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 early on is key—especially since they 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 super fast! 🌱

And don’t forget—keep your training sessions fun and short! Big pups can get overwhelmed, so sprinkle in some playtime and 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 every tiny win! 🎉

𝘉𝘳𝘳𝘳, it’s chilly out there!
Here are some 𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘄-𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 to keep your furry besties safe and comfy this winter:

❄️ 𝗖𝗼𝘇𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆:
If your pet has a short coat, dress them up in a cute little sweater or jacket. Bonus points if it’s as adorable as they are!

❄️𝗣𝗮𝘄-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Snow, ice, and salt can be tough on those precious paws. Pop on some booties or rub on paw balm to keep them soft and happy.

Our sweet 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒆 crossed over into hamster heaven this evening..❤️‍🩹 We had taken her into our veterinarian a couple of weeks ago due to her having a small mass that she had on her right hip. It was most likely cancer, but we were unable and also we’re not advised to do any type of surgery due to location and success rate ❤️‍🩹 She was one of the sweetest babies! She was so gentle and playful, and just overall fun to have in our household!🏡🐹 We are very grateful for having her for almost 2 years! I just hope and pray that she enjoyed every minute that she had on this earth with us! 🌍 We love and miss her already! ❤️‍🩹 Please pray for us as this is our second baby that we have lost in the last two months to cancer-🐱🐹❤️‍🩹 I hope we can get rid of this terrible disease that has been in our household for far too many times now ❤️‍🩹
