Meet Sherbet! Sherbet is originally from Texas and was pregnant at intake. She gave birth in the shelter, was placed in foster, and then transported to our rescue. Now, Sherbet is ready to find her forever home! She’s a very friendly and sweet cat that loves to explore. When opening her crate, she will immediately headbutt you for attention❤️ One of Sherbet’s requirements for her future home is a scratching post since it’s one of her favorite things!

Morning.
This is Dusty.
She is struggling with some health issues. She is the sweetest little girl. She has been to the vet several times since she has been with us. She is happy and playful through all she’s been dealing with. She has a strong will to live and we are going so everything we can to help her.
Please help us cover her vet bills. She is on some expensive medication. Your donations and prayers are much appreciated.

We were greeted this morning by a brand new life! To our surprise, sweet Gardinia had babies this morning! Unfortunately two were stillborn but the third is thriving and doing well!
Gardinia just arrived to our shelter 12 days ago and no one knew she was pregnant!
What should we name the little surprise?!

Ms. Dove is still available for adoption! She’s one of the sweetest and friendliest cats at the rescue❤️ She especially loves meeting new people and wants pets from everyone! While Dove is super sweet with people, it should be noted that she prefers a home without children.

✨LONG TERM RESIDENT✨

It’s DAY 358 since Figaro (aka Fig) has entered the shelter. Because of how long Figaro’s been staying with us, she has NO adoption fee. Figaro is an incredibly sweet cat! While she is still a bit shy, she LOVES to be pet❤️ Sometimes she will headbutt or paw at people for pets! We think the perfect home for Figaro would be quiet and with someone who is patient with her as she continues to grow and come out of her shell🥰

Our mascot has been waiting for his/her name. We only had one person suggest a name 🙀. We decided on a name yesterday April Fools day. The name that has been given is Marshmallow!!

It is day 598 since our lovely girl, Briar, has entered the shelter. While Briar has spent a majority of the time in foster, she’s ready for her forever home! Due to Briar’s long stay, she has no adoption fee. Briar is a quiet and laidback kitty! She’s still a little shy when first meeting people but she loves to be pet! She especially enjoys head scratches! We think Briar will be happiest in a quiet home with someone who will be patient with her as she continues to come out of her shell❤️

It is day 398 since Rita came to the shelter. Because of how long Rita’s been staying with us, she has no adoption fee. Ms. Rita is one of our most sweet and gentle cats at the rescue! While she used to be more on the shy side, Rita now goes to people for affection and enjoys being pet❤️ We think Rita will do well in a home with someone who is patient with her as she continues to open up!

This is Dove, Spooky and Haven today at their vet visit to Marriottsville Animal Hospital.
Fortunately it was for routine shots for Dove and Spooky. Haven went for an upper respiratory check. Also found out that Dove has an ear infection! Rest assured they got the best care with Dr. Pinkham. They are back now with treatment protocols for Haven and Spooky. We are fortunate to have such caring veterinarians that assist us with our babies.
The care we give them is so important so they can be healthy and happy cats.
We rely on adoption fees and donations to continue to get them the best care.
