PART-TIME BATHER WANTED
The Delightful Dog is looking for a part-time Bather/Groomers Assistant to add to our team. You must have at least 2 years of experience bathing dogs either in a professional grooming salon or kennel to qualify for this position. This is a very physical position that involves lots of bending, squatting, and lifting.
Great customer service skills, patience, and great attention to detail and direction are required for this position. You also must enjoy being a team player and work well with others. You must be 100% reliable for this position. Work days are Thursday- Saturday and we open at 8:15 AM.

The Delightful Dog is looking for a full time Groomer (sadly) to add to our team as one of our lovely girls is moving. A sign on bonus, paid vacations, and regularly paid for educational opportunities are some of the benefits that our full time groomers enjoy. We want you to learn and have the ability to update your knowledge and skills regularly. Our girls just got back from SuperZoo in August and attended the Hershey Groom Expo in 2021.
You must have at least 2 years grooming experience in a professional grooming salon, excellent finishing skills, and great customer service skills for this position. You also must enjoy being a team player and work well with, and be considerate of others. We have a great little workplace of people who do the same. You must be 100% reliable for this position. Work days are Tuesday- Saturday and we open at 8:15 AM. This is a W2 employee position. Commission based pay.

We will be closed today through Monday September 13th! I am taking the girls to Hershey, PA for the 2021 Hershey Groom Expo! 🐩 We are all super excited about all the learning opportunities, and having tons of fun! My wonderful girls definitely deserve the trip. I could not ask for better employees. So shout out to my girls!!!

So! This is my VERY much VERY LOVED little Shih Tzu Isabelle, who I affectionately call Smelly Smelly Issabelly. I have had her, and loved her for 14 years now, and HONESTLY love her to the moon and back! She loves my grandchildren, and my mom, whenever I am fortunate enough that she visits.
Issabelly is up close and personal, and on their laps when they are around, but she looks at me like this 😳😳😳 when I baby talk her AND try to get her to cuddle on my lap! 😞

I am the unfortunate one that brushes her, checks her over for health issues, and takes her in for a bath!

So anyway! Don't judge your groomer as a bad person, or actor in the animal world, based on your dogs reaction to grooming .
My OWN dog acts like I'm the plague, and I genuinely love her the best.
Plus, I can personally attest to this little witch getting a personal plate of macaroni, (pronounced mac- ah- oh - ny and cheese, as my grandson says.) every school lunch time, with her own personal little paper plate, because I love her so.
Bad attitude and all!

We are out of the shop until Tuesday the 29th, so Melissa W, Crystal , and our new friend Alexis can enjoy Christmas 🎄 with their families, and enjoy a very WELL deserved break!
I have truly been blessed this year, with these terrific ladies who have worked so hard everyday, to keep The Delightful Dog the way I want it to be. From paying attention to all of my nitpicking 😕, and sometimes criticisms 😔, to just being good to each other 🤗and to me☺️. They always take such great and patient😇 care with the dogs🐩and do their very best. It means the world that I can always count on them, even when they are very tired, or it turns into a long day, or things are hard 😞 in their own personal lives. So just a little holiday SHOUT OUT to my WONDERFUL♥️ little crew! I hope your Christmas is fantastic and the New Year blesses you!
