Rotala Blood Red is a very obviously red stem plant that sticks out in any tank! You do not need co2 for this plant and it is easy to grow.

Rotala Fujian is a easy plant that also does not require co2either. It will be green all the way up to the top where it starts to turn neon orange/neon pink!

These plants requirements are simple. You'll need some kind of decent substrate, and any decent aquarium plant light. The higher the stronger the light the more the colors get deeper.

Here's a great video to show everyone the difference in quality in what you get at Plant Betta vs anywhere else.

I also want to say that in this video I'm not trying to say you can't get good tissue cultures/plants at a Petco, Petsmart, or anywhere else I'm just showing the difference in what you can get with Plant Betta vs anywhere else. I buy tissue cultures from many places. While converting any tissue culture can be easy-extremely hard (even with the right equipment) it can be the right thing for some people.

Many people buy plants online and wonder why they get them and then they die within a few days. Most of the time the reason is they are sold the plant in its Emersed form. Many online sellers will show you the plant in its submerged form then ship you that same plant, but in its non aquatic form. This is where many people throw their money away! Many people do not have the correct lighting, CO2 injection (to help the plant convert easier), or the right fertilizer to convert safely. So the plant that was used to breathing above water gets planted under water and starves.

EVERY plant we sell is already in its aquatic form so you get exactly what you're supposed to get! You also get a plant that is already used to being under water so you don't need to worry about it melting away like you would when buying online at many other shops.

I highly recommend buying from us if you want the right plant the first time around that will thrive in your tank! You will save tons of time and money! What you buy won't die on you and you won't have to wait weeks/months for the plant to convert to its aquatic form like you would when buying elsewhere.

Today's AWESOMENESS! Giant Apple Snails!

Watch the video to see why I and so many others are OBSESSED with these! These are not mystery snails. Mystery s sold top out at around 2" shell. These can get as big as a softball! Video is of one of my personal ones his name is Speed Racer v2. He's actually VERY FAST for a snail. Customers that see him in person are always blown away by his speed 🤣 He's about 2 years old now.

They're $5 for each half inch in shell size. I don't recommend anything under a 2" snail for anyone who is wanting to add them into a planted tank. Reason being is when they're very young they will eat plants. As they grow and get older in my breeding tank up to about 2"+ in size they have had months of conditioning knowing that the only food is an algae wafer. So by the time they're that size they only look for an algae wafer and leave plants alone. However about 2-3 out of 10 will always eat plants. So there is a slight chance still. So if you don't have a backup tank to move it to if you randomly get one that still eats plants that's over 2" in shell size then I wouldn't get one. If you're local you can bring it back and swap out for another if needed if the one you got happens to be a plant eater. You can see in my tank my personal one leaves all my pants alone and only eats algae wafers. The same for the other 7-8 out of 10 I sell. 😊 So if you want an Amazing addition to your tank definitely check these out!

Why you should choose Plant Betta for your Aquatic Plants 😊

Plant of the day! Bolbitis Heteroclita! This is a fern type plant that is very beginner friendly and once it's established makes a big and beautiful bush that fish love to swim in. I know a bunch of my fish also like sleeping/resting in it as well. The leaves are pretty decent sized 4-8" on average and around 1-1.5" wide on the fully grown plants. This fern doesn't need high light to grow, but if you give it high light it will grow very fast! Just make sure you're using liquid fertilizer as well. This plant is one of my most favorite plants to watch pearling (photosynthesizing and releasing tiny bubbles of oxygen). This plant likes to be in areas of the tank with more flow vs dead zones. I sell it for $2-10 depending on the size plant you want. If you're looking for a very big and bushy plant that will be great in any tank I definitely recommend this plant.
