Ok everyone, here we go! Sneak peak of YOUR new lobby! Thank you all for your love and support over the past 4 years. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are. So we built the facility with you and your pets in mind. We hope you find the lobby warm and welcoming. We're still finishing up some small details in the back but we're operational! We'll be sharing more clips of the build process for those of you that enjoy a little DYI. And for those of you that really know Dr. Jen and I, lord knows we like to do it all ourselves too!

Sango "Quick Tips" - Dental Care

Update from Ulysses: Boy am I feeling great! My hair is growing in many places, my skin is continuing to improve, and my personality is really starting show. Everyone asks about my eyes, so here's the status. I am 100% irreversibly blind. The current state of my eyes is a condition known as phthisis bulbi. This means that some time ago I had an eye condition that went untreated until my eyes completely stopped producing the normal fluids inside of the eye. My eyes then shrank and the normal tissues became scarred and distorted. I now have what resembles marbles deep in the back of my eye sockets. While at one time my eyes were painful they are no longer in any pain. Since the distortion of my eyes has also caused my eyelids to roll under, the few eyelashes I have occasionally rub my little eye on the right side. I will probably still need surgery on the right eye to prevent chronic irritation but my left eye is even smaller and my eyelashes can't reach it. For now I have my eyes lubricated twice a day to keep them moist and comfortable. In the next few weeks I'm scheduled for allergy testing so I can start hyposensitization therapy for my itchy skin. Until then I'm enjoying the warm weather and plenty of snacks!
