Fireworks are going off at all hours of the day and night. It is a frightening time for cats, dogs, snd wildlife. Open a closet door and let your cats or dogs hide. Pick up some meds to relax them. Keep id tags on your pet! More dogs will be lost July 4th than any other day of the year. Use COMMON SENSE! Take your dog out on a leash! Keep cats inside! It is going to be a beautiful weekend and fireworks will probably go off for days. Think how scarey it is for your pets.

Courtesy Listing: Ellie (torti) and Lucy (Grey tabby) are in need of a new home due to their owner's health issues. As 9-year-old sisters who have spent their entire lives together, their bond is exceptionally strong. Presently, they reside in a relative's basement, but unfortunately, the relative's allergies make it impossible for them to provide a permanent home. While Ellie is the more dominant personality, both cats are remarkably sweet and deserving of love. Prior to adoption, they will be completely vetted. We will never adopt our way out of this mess! Public Vet is coming the 15th, 16th, and 17th to this area. Lanesville, Jeff and New Albany. You dont have to live in these areas. There is financial help at these clinics. Fill out the form. Please end the suffering!! Kittens are everywhere. There are not enough homes. We are tired of the suffering. Do you part. Spay/neuter your cat and strays. Remember, help is available!

When people post a kitten found- a lot of people rush to rescue the kitten. But adult cats are often a different story. This young man was found and was so sick. The finders post was shared hundreds of times with no takers to get him the help he needed. The young girl started calling rescues. Of course, everybody was full, but we could not turn our backs on him. What a recovery. Albert is a purrrfect cat! He loves other cats and definitely a lap cat! We are soooo glad we saved him. He is fiv positive but he can live with other kitties just fine. Adult cats are so appreciative of being saved! Albert is now enjoying the good life, sitting in his favorite position-watching tv.

Memorial Day holds a deeper significance than a three-day weekend, it represents a day of remembrance and it is a tribute to the U.S. military personnel who have lost their lives in service. Today prompts reflection on the sacrifices that gave us our freedom and encourages appreciation for the liberties we enjoy. The selfless individuals who have given their lives have done so to preserve the freedoms we cherish today. We want to thank all our military personnel. Have a safe Memorial Day!

Colton, a rescued kitten found in the middle of the road, sustained an eye injury but was in overall good health. As an exceptionally sweet and laid-back kitten, Colton was adopted and now resides with two feline siblings, and receives hugs from his close friend Elliott! The two have formed a remarkably close friendship, with Colton rarely far from Elliott's side. We are thrilled that Colton is doing so well in his forever home! Way to go Colton!
