Our area is preparing for a winter storm. Ice, snow, and frigid temperatures. Please bring your animals inside!!! Even a garage would help. These animals are at our mercy. Have a plan. Outside cats can be placed in a bathroom if that is all that is available. Just get them through this storm. Please report dogs that are left out in these elements. Please watch out for our furry animals! Bring them inside!

It is hard to believe another year is gone! Happy New Years Eve! We want to thank every single one of you for the part you play in Purrfect Friends! If you are a foster, you are irreplaceable, and if you donated, thank you, we cannot do it without you! If you help at fundraisers, you are so appreciated! If you share our posts, thank you! Every one of you are so important to Purrfect Friends! Please be careful if you are celebrating tonight. Let's hope 2025 is a great year for animals!

This is how rescued cats should live! Free Loader was rescued by Purrfect Friends in February. He was skinny, hating the cold and FIV positive. Begging for food- hence the name. He got the works done and he never looked back! This is how he lays around his new house. He is not an angel, but really relaxed! He is glad the holidays are wrapping up and he will get the full chair back.

George and Jake said they are so happy to be in foster care! These brothers are 3 years old and soooo precious. Although precious, not purrfect!!! Their daddy died and they lived alone for awhile. They want to be near their humans! We have neutered them, updated on shots, heartworm tested, and chipped. Our foster is working with these 2 in getting used to playing with toys, walks, car rides, and trained! They are very smart and sooooo sweet. Hopefully they will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Here is an awesome opportunity to see the Hoosiers play at home! Purrfect Friends had someone donate 2 tickets to see the IU vs Winthrop game!!! For a $10 donation you get a chance to win 2 tickets to the IU game!! They are having a great year and it would be a good time to see them play. The game is December 29th, 4:00 p.m., IU vs Winthrop in Bloomington! The seats are in section BB, Row 3, and seats 12 and 13
The tickets are electronic and will be transferred to the winner by email. If interested, please paypal $10 to [email protected]. or email [email protected] to ask for other ways to pay. The drawing will be December 21st.

UPDATE: A kind, sweet gentleman, who lost his black cat, also named Tabitha 6 months ago, would love to spoil this young lady and make her his kitty!!!! His daughter is a veterinarian!! Too many coincidences to overlook! He immediately inquired after seeing the post! Come to find out the rescuer knows him! Don't tell me there are no miracles! You know what we say - way to go Tabby!!!

Meet Tabby! Are we seeking the impossible?? A woman in KY lost her home in a scam and a sweet rescuer saved her 10 cats from euthanization. This rescuer went over and above for these kitties. Found homes for most and fostering 3. Tabby is soooooo sweet. The problem is Tabby is bullied by the other cats. When she lived with the lady, she only came out at night to eat and use the litter box, hid under the bed all day long. At her rescuers house - nothing has changed- she is still bullied and petrified of other cats. She lives in fear. She has to be in a home with NO OTHER PETS. Somebody that never wants more than one kitty, Tabby. She is 4 years old, spayed, gorgeous, sweet, and ready to finally start living a life with no fear! UPDATE: Welcome Sassy to Purrfect Friends! There was a lot of interest so we brought her into rescue. She is now vetted! She is approx 7 years old. She was covered in fleas so she got flea control. She tested felv/fiv negative, got all her shots, was dewormed, revolution
applied, chipped, and she is spayed. As normal, since middle age, we ran bloodwork. We like to make sure we don't miss something. We will get that back tomorrow. So we are working with those that applied! Wish Sassy the best!

Another baby helped!! Vader, is a stray being taken care of by a sweet caretaker. She tried to bring him in but he doesn't like their dog and other cats. So she does the best she can for him. He was fixed, she feeds him and keeps him warm. Estimated to be around 7 yrs old, he came to his feeder with this gash on his neck. She was so scared and tried to find help for this baby. We said we would pay to get him vetted!! She found a vet that would squeeze him in. Vader was attacked by something. He got antibiotics and stapled. He is being made to stay inside for a few days to make sure he is OK. We continue to help, with your generosity, animals that would suffer or die because owners and caretakers cannot afford medical care. Vader is sure glad we helped! We cannot do it without our supporters! We thank each and every one of you!

Good News- Jerry says I sure used up some of my 9 lives! Jerry was brought to Blue Pearl with a blockage. He is only a couple of years old and the sweetest boy you ever saw. The owners spent a fortune to get him unblocked and then turned over to Purrfect Friends because they felt being stressed at home was causing his problems. We took over. We then hospitalized for 2 more days. He went to a foster with a catheter for 10 days. It cost the family and Purrfect Friends $10,000 to save this young fellow. His family loved him and are thrilled he made it through. Our goal was to find a home with no other pets and a quiet stress free life. Drum roll please...........he found his furrrever home. He is living the life!!!! He is so loved and stress free! You know what we say ----- Way to go Jerry!!! We love you and pray you never have issues again!!
