It is with a heavy heart, that Hagemeyer Farms announces the recent passing of NOB HILL HIGH. At a young 18 years, "Nobby" was vibrant and in good health til the end. The cause was an undetermined sudden Cardiac event. He passed quickly and peacefully in his stall. He is laid to rest at Hagemeyer Farms.

Nob Hill High (3, 1:50.1F $1,101,453) was a son of MCARDLE (3, 1:49.0 $2,455,609), out of the World Champion mare ANNIECROMBIE (3, 1:52.3 $1,414,477). "Nobby" was 1 of a very elite group of stallions that earned over $1 million, whose Sire and Dam both earned over $1 Million. Nob Hill High was an embryo transfer "homebred" and the last foal from his Dam, who was 22 at the time of conception. His breeders owned him his entire racing and breeding career.

"Nobby's" 1st crop of foals produced 2018 Ohio Sires Stakes Champion and OHHA 2 year old pacing c**t of the year, High on Paydaze. High on Paydaze was bred/born/raised at Hagemeyer Farms. Nob Hill High's last crop are racing successfully as 3 year olds in 2024. The breeders of Nob Hill High were partners on High on Paydaze and also partners on a last crop filly (Laurel Court) who won her last start in the Buckeye Stallion Series.

Hagemeyer Farms has retained a couple fillies sired by Nob Hill High for future breeding.

It has been our great honor to share in the success of Nob Hill High as a remarkable Ohio stallion. We miss his outgoing personality and gentle soul.
