Late post, but wanted to share that we had a great time fishing the Ice Bowl catfishing tournament! 194 boats showed up to brave the weather, more than I expected given the icy conditions. We started the day with the boat froze to the trailer, but it eventually thawed out enough to break free. The ice sheets made it a bit challenging to fish where we wanted to, but we managed a 36.2 pound fish that was good enough for 11th place. Congrats to all those who fished and especially to those who finished in the money. And thanks to all the great folks and sponsors that make this such a fun event! We look forward to it every year

Fishing with my grandpa will always be one of my fondest childhood memories….so it feels really special when someone trusts me to take them out and create one of those memorable days on the water. We stayed pretty busy with the fish, so this was the only picture I ended up taking all day…but I think it captured the essence of the moment pretty well. Appreciate the business you two, and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Always love the father/son trips! Battled a little bit of wind in the morning, but it laid down around lunchtime and the fish turned on for us. Little man was rewarded with a new personal best and I think it’s safe to say that he is hooked on fishing! 🎣

Got to wet a line with my favorite fishing partner yesterday evening! After a mess of white perch and crappie, she said she wanted to catch a catfish. We only had 3 cat rods with us, so I told her it might be kind of slow. I was wrong! Back to back citations. It was a great few hours on the water that I will remember as long as I live. And she still hasn’t let me live down the fact that she caught wayyyy more fish than me ! 😂

Great day of fishing on Saturday! We found the calm after the storm…however, our friends to the west were not so fortunate. Please consider donating what you can to help those in need. Today is the bittersweet day that we are putting our house on the market! We have poured so much love and energy into this place over the last 12 years!!! We have so many great memories here and seriously have the best neighbors anyone could ask for….but alas, it is time to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.

Please feel free to share! Or if you know anyone looking send them our way. There will be an open house this Saturday from 2-4! The location is great…convenient to Durham, RTP, and Hwy 50. The houses on our street have oversized lots compared to the other houses in the neighborhood and no HOA! It is convenient to everything as you can take the sidewalk to the trails, schools, grocery store, or downtown Creedmoor. Lots of extras like chicken coop, carport, storage building, workshop, raised/irrigated garden beds, compost bins, treehouse, fire pit, etc. Would make a great place for someone with kids! Loving this early summer bite! Put nearly 30 fish in the boat with these repeat customers, including a 5 fish hookup in the morning. Unfortunately, my phone overheated 🥵 so I didn’t get a photo of our biggest fish from the day, but it was a dandy! They kept a cooler full of eaters and let the rest swim. Tight lines! 😎 🎣

We started the day out with an awesome and chaotic 4 fish hookup! (Only had 3 grips with me unfortunately, so one fish didn’t make the pic). Only fished about an hour or two, but had a great time making some memories with those Lloyd boys!

Friday’s trip was a Christmas gift from Emma to her brother Eli. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and it really felt more like catching up with a couple of old friends than a fishing charter…but of course we caught some fish too!
