Roll Over Certified dog trainer. Private classes, group classes, in home and board and train. Leah has been training professionally now for 20 years.

She is a certified dog trainer, worked with Train A Dog Save A Warrior for 12 years and was a Mentor for ABC for 5 years. Leah believes that just like kids not all dogs learn the same. She will find a training program that works best for you and your dogs. She is a mostly positive reinforcement dog trainer and using a method developed by Dr Mary Belle Adelman called the Optimum Placement Technique

(OPT). Leah owns 8 dogs all who walk perfect and are very well behaved on just flat buckle collars. Most of her dogs are rescues with some really bad history's of aggression. Leah has work with all types of aggression, fearfulness, and stubborn dogs. She will find a way to motivate your dog into learning in the most positive manner possible. Roll Over offers Private one on one training sessions both at our facility or in your home. We also offer Group classes for Basic obedience, advanced obedience, Board and Train, AKC star puppy classes, AKC CGC classes, Social classes, Agility classes, nose work, trick classes and even workshops such as Stray dog away, Reading your dog, Dog Park Safety.

The dogs have a lot of pent-up energy from being stuck in the house all day yesterday only going out to go potty and play for short periods cuz the fireworks. So today we had a pool party. Been working on wearing them out cuz they've been extra energetic today.

How are your dogs handling the fireworks? Pretty calm and quiet with all the dogs here. A few are eating in their crates and a few are snuggled up just watching and listening to them all. No real stress and no dogs were medicated. Stay safe and relaxed.

That being said I've taken the whole week off and worked with board and train dogs making sure that they are safe and calm through the fireworks.

My friend was going to keep one of her puppies she is a Great Pyrenees lab mix. This is her at 4 months old so she is going to be a very large dog. Leon went home from one week board and train. He is a client of mine whose owner had an emergency and I needed to pick him up to help her take care of him while she was healing. Around his owner Leon is very confident and a little dominant. In one week with us we saw an unconfident fearful friendly dog. Sometimes taking the dog away from the owner you get to see who they truly are and what you can help to work on to make them better.

Our last group class of the summer. We started a walk with group class members and it was a very successful heel passing by other dogs and people. It's a little hot and humid but cooler than it was last week because we went an hour earlier. Look for a group classes to start again late August.

Bodhi had a session at rural King today. He got to try new things like sitting politely for petting, stay with lots of distractions, coming when called, heeling while walking by people and ignoring the popcorn on the floor. It has been too hot outside for the dogs so today we switch classes to rural King. We really appreciate that they are pet friendly store and allow us to come in. Please remember when taking your pet in public it is your responsibility to clean up their waste. They don't care that they have accidents but please clean up after your pet so we don't lose the right to take our pets in stores like rural King.

Congratulations to Dawn and Hera on graduating the Train A Dog Save A Warrior program you did wonderful training Hera. You didn't need much guidance from me and you weren't in the program very long. But you two make a wonderful team and do great together. Remember training is for the life of the dog and never ends if you ever need me give me a call and I will be happy to help you get your dog and you back on the right track. Congratulations to Kristin and her service dog tank on completing Train A Dog Save A Warrior task and training program. You have worked very hard with tank and came a very long way from when I first met you a year ago. I know you've had a lot of struggles and you're going through a lot with tank right now. We are all keeping you and tank in our thoughts and prayers. Tank was recently discovered to have mass cell tumor on his neck. They were ready to graduate and he developed a lump on his neck that we had looked at and it turned out to be a mass cell tumor. This is skin cancer in dogs. He will have blood work day and Friday he will have the tumor removed and hopefully be cancer-free for the rest of his life. It will not affect his duties and it does not affect him right now it just wasn't a pretty look and we got concerned. They have become tadsaw team 1617.
