Basic obedience group classes start September 7th at 10 am. Only a few spots left, hurry and book your dog before spots are full. We will meet every Saturday for 6 weeks weather depending for an hour each week for $180. We will teach watch me, leave it, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking and heel. Payments are due at sign up through cash app or venmo. No refunds or makeup classes for missed classes but you will get caught up at next attended class. Just a few reminders.
Group class starts next Saturday September 7th at 10:00 a.m. . This class is a 6-week group class of people and their dogs learning basic obedience commands. We only have a few slots left and payment is due by the end of this week. It is $180 for the six week class per dog each dog must have its own handler.

Mojo had his first training session today. He likes to bark for attention and a little bit out of fear. One thing I noticed is mojo does not use his nose to smell people approaching or even after they pass by. By the end of our training session we had him using his nose instead of just using his eyes and his ears which is typically what we see in reactive dogs. Reactive dogs typically will not use their nose at all they will see something approaching and hear it approaching and react to it instead of using their greatest sense of all which is their nose. By not allowing our puppies to sniff and explore and working too much on obedience and structure we can actually cause our dogs to not use their nose which is their most important and should be their go-to way of exploring. We had a great session and I look forward to working with mojo more.

Hello who all is wanting to attend a group class soon? Please comment below if you are looking to start a basic obedience group class with us in September. Our basic obedience group classes are every Saturday for 6 weeks for an hour each week and cost $180 for the entire 6 week class. Puppies must have at least 3 sets of shots to begin classes with us.

Shadow had her second session at The Greenway. This girl is working on her social skills and not reacting towards dogs on the walk. Today I brought two of my dogs to introduce to her and see how she does. And she did perfect. So Oliver and Badger got to join Shadow on her training session today and they were off to the side working on their stays while shadows owner was working on her stay.

Kioshi did a short stay with us and we refreshed his training he received a couple months ago. He's made great progress. He met my husband and did wonderful with him and we also took him in Rural King and he did amazing. I love this boy he is so sweet with me now. The first time I met him he sure did grab me by the back of the arm. But now we have lots of love and respect for each other.

Poogie is not happy with me this morning. When I picked him up last Wednesday he had a horrible case of happytail that needed treated. Also when I picked him up he scratched my arm really good because his toenails are super long and sharp and needed trimmed. He can be a little temperamental and there's certain things he doesn't put up with like taking something out of his mouth or making him do something he doesn't want to do such as get his toenail strip. And I treated his happy tail and trimmed his toenails this morning before putting them in the car to go home. So he's not very happy with me but we got it done and no one got bit.

Maisy had her first session at Rural King today. We are working on some anxiety issues with this girl. She is such a good girl and so sweet and eager to please.

Sophie and Riley went home from a week refresher training. We will need to work with the owner doing a couple follow-up sessions to get them back on track and doing well again.

SHAX and Bella had an in-home session today. As a typical teenager with a new dog coming in the house he has slacked off on some of his training. So we are helping them pick it back up and get on the right track to both dogs listening better. Bella was recently adopted from Christian county animal shelter. She is a cute little 10-week-old lab mix and she is coming along wonderfully. The owners have really done good by her and started her off the right way. I look forward to working with them more next week.

Rowdy had his first training session today. He was rescued through Montgomery county animal shelter. He is learning his basic obedience watch me, leave it, sit, down, short stays and his release word break. Today was his first time at the greenway so he was a little nervous but he did amazing with his training.

It is an outdoor class and weather depending. If we have to cancel one week we will just pick up the following week. This class will teach watch me, leave it, sit, down, stay, loose leash walking and heel. The cost for this class is $180 and must be paid at sign up. There are no refunds or make up classes so make sure that you can attend these classes every Saturday. If you miss one week the next week we will catch you up on what you missed. Advanced obedience group class. This class is to work on advancing your dog's obedience in public. Dogs must already know sit, down, stay and loose leash walking. This class will start August 24th at 11:00 a.m. We will work on strengthening your dogs basic obedience skills really focusing on a good tight heel in public places such as parks, Rural King etc. this class also works on and off leash. We will start with using long lines no shock collars are required or used. This is a 6-week class that focuses on advanced obedience skills and cost $180. Would you use majority rules in classes like this such as if we have three people going out of town one week we will choose to not do training that week and pick up the following week.

Badger says send reinforcements mom is so bored she is teaching me how to ride the horse now.
I was free of sessions and only have a couple of short term board and train dogs so I went with friends on a trail ride and we all took our dogs. My back tattoo has the perfect phase for me.
It says "I'll never walk alone".

Cade had his second session today. We had a couple neighbor kids come over to work on him not jumping on people coming into the home. He did amazing so when we were done with the kids we sent them on their way to continue to work on his obedience sit, down, stay, leave it, watch me. Today he was a little more stubborn like a bulldog typically is then he was at our first session. We had set this session up for as soon as the owner got home because we knew he would be in the most excited state so that we can continue to work through that excitement. The owner reports he has made wonderful progress with his obsession with the ball. Since our last training session she has worked with his ball that he had severe OCD over and now the ball can be out and he doesn't have severe OCD.

Jax is training to be a service dog through train a dog save a warrior. I have worked for tadsaw for 12 years now. They are getting close to graduating there's just a few things where polishing up on before they complete their program.

Leon had a session at The Greenway today. And because of his reactivity towards people and dogs he has to wear a muzzle for the safety of the public. We are working towards getting off of the muzzle as he has been doing amazing. But Leon had pulled his owner down before receiving training from us and had bitten a lady and her dog so his training has to be very cautious as one more strike could be very bad for Leon. Because of how often he pulls his owner down we did decide to go to a shock collar with him and this is our third lesson with the shock collar. And he is really making a turn around walking really well with his owner at a heel passing by people, strollers, bicycles, dogs, runners and so much more with no reactions at all. I look forward to seeing him make more improvements with continued training.

Our two week program works on watch me, leave it, sit, down, short stay, loose leash walking all on leash for $1100.
The 30 day program is for puppies and most behavioral issues. We teach place, watch me, leave it, sit, down, stay, come, heel, loose leash walking and works on most behavioral issues for $2200.
If your dog stays with us for our 6 week program they will learn all the basics on and off leash inside and outside of the home. This program corrects most behavioral issues while teaching your dog to be a well mannered pet inside and outside of the home. This program cost $2,800.
Service dog board and train is an 8 week program that requires dogs be over a year, be friendly and social with people and dogs. This program teaches basic and advanced obedience along with public Access training. This program cost $3500 and your dog will be ready to go everywhere with you. Your dog will learn a task to assist you with everyday life also.
