I have a couple opening this weekend. I have a 12:45 Saturday and a 10:00 a.m. on sunday. If you would like one of these sessions meeting us message me or send me a text message at 931-302-4705 to book your dog in one of those spots. Private classes meeting us are $50 for the one hour session.
Bear goes home today. We did a little short walk here is a short clip of his heel. I should have done a before video because he was absolutely wild on the leash uncontrollable pulled like crazy. He's made huge improvements in the last 30 days. He is one of the most mellow labs I have had the pleasure of working with.
Week 6 group class came to an end. Everyone did wonderful. Next up advanced obedience group class. We will be scheduling that and another group class soon.
4th of July fireworks and dogs.
KOA and malu are on their way home from their board in train. KOA was previously shock collar change so he came to me to get off of the shop collar because he only listened when the collar was on. Which is typical of shock collar training without the collar the dog doesn't respond to any commands. Malu is a puppy and will need continued training which he will get through our follow-up classes and are free group classes that are included in our board and train programs over 30 days. He is doing wonderful with his obedience but as a typical puppy can still get highly distracted by other dogs.
Let's spring into summer with some specials.
Kioshi went home from his 30 days board and train. He has done very well and we did a going home session at The Greenway with the owner. No muzzle no reactivity a very well behaved boy. His owner and I will continue to meet and do more training sessions together to continue his wonderful behavior so the aggressive behavior does not return. Aggression is not curable it is maintainable.
This is Nova and she is getting ready to go home from her 2 weeks board and train. We are just polishing up on her leash walking and basically obedience and drying off after a bath. She is such a sweet girl loves everybody people and dogs get so excited to see everybody and she'll need some continued work to get through that but she has learned her basic obedience on leash.
Looks like the weather will be good for group class today. Hope to see you all there.
Hope everyone is staying safe. I've not had much sleep the last few days. I have storm anxiety of my own. I watched a 7 year old boy get struck by lightning and die in front of me at 7 years old he was about 30 ft away from me. I gave a few of board and train dogs calming treats along with a couple of my own. My one eyed Bug has the worst of it and must be near us to relax. Hoping to get some sleep tonight to be able to hold classes tomorrow. I'm living by my moto tonight.
Remember "Train"Don't Complain!
Kioshi did not like me the first time he met me. But it didn't take me long to become his best friend. This morning while I'm watering the garden he came out to play go potty and do some obedience with me.
I forgot to post about little Mavericks going home session. The owner sent him for 2 weeks board and train to work on leash walking and his come command. He has done in home sessions with me previously and he has done group classes with us and his leash walking was still a struggle for the owner. Maverick made wonderful improvements and the owner was very happy with the results when we met at the greenway yesterday. Your dog is not going to be 100% perfect after 2 weeks board and train especially if they've had no previous training before. But they sure will be more reliable and easier to manage and continue their training.
Tux and Angel got a going home session at Rural King before we head home to work with them and the owners together.
Today I did a session at The Greenway working on leash walking with a few of my veterans and two of our board and train dogs who go home on Tuesday. Angel and tux are doing wonderful on their heel together on the left side. They handled seeing all the bicycles and people skateboards and dogs wonderfully. Tomorrow they will be doing some Rural King training to work a little more in public settings on there obedience.
Going for a walk with a great story
Aubie went home today. This boy has come a long way. I fell in love with him. I will be working with his owner at rural King and such as Aubie gets overwhelmed with lots of people.
Bear and Gunner went home from their board and train. Bear was fighting Gunner over Gunner's anxiety issues. Both are doing great with each other now.
Gunner and Bear are doing great together and go home tomorrow. We shall see how the fo when Nala the other dog is introduced to them both.
Just an update on everything going on and what we have available.
Teaching Oliver and Badger to hug. The first day of trying I would say was a huge success.
