AKC registered. DNA tested Stud, Dublin, is descendant of the O'Day line. Morganne is Fleetwood Irish Setters. I have had them my whole life.

I have been breeding off and on since the early 90’s. These are my family first, breeding dogs second!

Please say a few prayers for some of our families this week. 14 year old Keeley passed in her sleep late last week, 10 year old Tucker had cancer and left this world today and 14 year old Darby is not doing well either. I am so thankful for these families who adopted our pups and gave them such a long love filled life. Hug your babies.

Spent some time with the birthday boy today. Dublin made it to 12! He is the longest living male Irish Setter I have had in my lifetime. I wanted to get some pictures with him and his family today. First wife-Paisley, Second wife-Morganne, His son, Tavish and his daughter, Rose. He was the first dog that I kept from my litters. His daughter Rose is the second. It was a bittersweet day as we know he will not make it to another birthday. On bath day we discovered a large stiff tumor growing on his back right knee. It is cancer and the only hope is amputation and treatment. I can’t put him through that. Hug your babies a little extra today. 12 years has gone so fast for me with this dog, my chosen boy. I will be keeping him comfortable for as long as possible. He is truly the dog of my heart and I am trying to adjust to what his future will be and then mine without him. It is wonderful for me to know so many of you have his babies and he will live on in his children. Pray for comfort for this very special boy. Thank you.

My Dublin, starting to look and feel his age. He will be 12 in June. He’s the longest living male I have ever had. I fixed him at 10.5 years of age and he got even more hairy and now his coat is fuzzy and gosh does his hair matt. He still jogs around in the yard, is obedient, protective, and can’t decide if he wants to lay on his bed or love on me. He has been a loyal servant and is one of the last left from my dogs Blue and Annie.

This big guy had a heat incident yesterday. We found him outside laying on his side panting heavily and he was unable to get up on his own. He spent the night at the urgent care. His blood work is excellent. So he’s inside for 7-10 days for observation. Please take this as a warning. Watch your babies in the heat! This could have turned out much worse.

Today is this fantastic boy’s 11th birthday! He has lived in three different houses with me, survived a flipped stomach, a mass on his paw and being fixed at the age of ten. Dublin Decoursey O’Day my photogenic, prolific, loving and loyal boy. So very thankful I chose you! I hope we have a few more years together. Here are some pictures through the years.

Puppies! Males and females are born inside my home and remain inside my home until they leave for their forever home. Puppies come home with you at 8 weeks (early February) with all medical records for worming and vaccinations and AKC paperwork for Registration. This is the third generation of this line. Tavish is feeling better every day. He’s so excited to be able to get up on the bed like the big dogs and mess it up! Now they can’t get away from him either. . . We have a puppy!
