Hey everyone!! Tis the season for blanket washing! I’ve got a ton of blankets coming in so I figured now is the perfect time to do a post about what I need from you for your blankets ❤️
1. Please bag your blankets (trash bags, empty feed sacks, totes, etc… whatever works!)
2. Please make sure each bag has your name on it or in it.
3. Please write down what you want done (wash, repair, repair if needed, waterproof, waterproof if needed… and/or any specific thing(s) you want done). My memory is horrid some days, so even if you tell me in person, I will most likely forget unless it gets written down, and sometimes I forget to even do that!🤷♀️😂
***If you do not leave instructions on what you want done I will do whatever I feel is needed at my discretion*** (this applies only to repairs, I do NOT waterproof without permission). In this case I will only repair what’s critical for use.
If you only say “wash”, I will only wash. I do have some clients who do their own repairs and waterproofing, so I assume that’s what you want to do if you only say “wash”. 😊
I do not look things over before they go in the wash. I wash everything that comes in, I do not look them over first to determine if they’re worth repairing (unless it’s totally obvious). I simply cannot get a good enough look at what all needs repaired when blankets are not clean and on my work table. So, if you send something in that you know might be not worth saving, it’s getting washed. If once on my work table I decide it’s too far gone, I either keep the blanket for parts (with no charge for the wash, and if legs straps are detachable and in decent shape I send those back to you) or if you want it back you’re charged for the wash.
All of these things will keep my end running smoothly and more efficiently. ❤️
Thank you all for your continued support! 🥰
