This is truly the Season of Giving: Thank you all who have supported Silver Lake Animal Rescue to stay relevant during 2025!

Our wonderful volunteers who are still rescuing unwanted kitties and doggies, provide medical care, love and support, and find great homes through adoptions; which is our mission and end game!

Additionally, Thank you Anne Hopkins for your support and the beautiful kitty blankets you made for our adoptions. We love to send our adopted kitties home with a new blanket of their own!

Also, Thank you Christal Renaud and Girl Scout Troop 75160 for your beautiful kitty blankets; our adopted kitties will go to their new homes in style!

Please remember to keep your family pets indoors during these freezing days and nights. Support your local rescues and shelters so more kitties and doggies can be rescued - Silver Lake Animal Rescue League, Inc. celebrated its 33rd Anniversary in September 2025. All animals adopted through us are given all age-appropriate tests and vaccines. We spay or neuter prior to adoption and we microchip them all!

These three boys and their mom are now fully vetted and will be added to our petfinder page shortly. Meet Goldie, the kitten mom, who did an amazing job raising these 3 boys all alone.

Goldie is about 10.5 months old now, she gave birth on June 11th, at just over 5 months old herself. A kind group of women saved her and her babies from a life on the streets and they have been working with us to find them their furever homes. Their foster mom loves them bunches and would love to see the bonded pairs go to homes together. She can tell you more about their unique personalities.
