With the Holidays around the corner, here are our updated hours:

December 24th - 9:00-1:00
December 25th - CLOSED
December 31st - 9:00-1:00
January 1st - CLOSED

We will have normal business hours the rest of the days. If your pet is in need of a medication or food refill please plan accordingly🎄

THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a pet bandana or made a donation for Friends of Detroit Animal Care & Control! With your generous donations we were able to raise $345!

This donation will go towards caring for the animals in the shelter, this includes: vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, collar/leashes, food, and many other medical expenses.

NOVEMBER PET(S) OF THE MONTH🐾

Sunnie and Homer are our pets of the month in honor of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! Both pets were recently adopted by two of our staff members from Detroit Animal Care & Control.

How to observe National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week?
1.) Adopt a pet - if you are looking for a new furry friend please consider adoption
2.) Volunteer - get involved by finding out how to volunteer
3.) Donate - many animal shelters are non-profit and depend on donations and grants. If you are able to donate any little bit helps!

To help raise money for DACC we will be selling bandanas for $3 donations! Our assistant Kayla is very crafty and handmade some cute bandanas! They will be avaliable at our front desk!💕
