We are working to be the best for you. Here is a photo of Cargill’s new freight rate. This is our Nutrena feed line. It is a substantial increase. We are looking at options to try and keep our prices competitive. On the chart, the left column is miles from KC. We are 148 miles. The other columns indicate the number of tons ordered. The prices are per ton divided by 40 bags. We were required to order 6 T and now our better rate would be 8T. Our goal here is to keep our feed rotated and fresh. It may be difficult to order 8T, keep it fresh and be competitive. Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting this small business.
