We are excited to work with Memory Care Corral on this program.

"We are very excited that Memory Care Corral has entered into a new partnership with Sunshine Horses in Clay, NY to offer this unique program for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers starting in the Spring of 2025. Sunshine Horses is a non-profit, independent adoption agency committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, retraining, and rehoming horses, while enriching the lives of people and offering opportunities for personal growth. We hope to get the word out about our new location so individuals with dementia and their caregivers can benefit from this therapeutic program that has been shown to reduce isolation, depression and stress. No horse handling experience is necessary. We will post the Spring schedule as soon as it is finalized. (https://www.memorycarecorral.org)

Our schoolers have been making the most of our beautiful weather these past few weeks,☀️🐴 spending time on the trails and building confidence with the horses they’re working with. It looks like Woody, Wally, Tazz, and Suzie Q have all been enjoying their rides!
