I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!!
In an odd turn of events, Liz will have to go through one more surgery next Friday. We're hopeful this will be the last one to get her walking pain-free. This will be #5 in 2 years.
We've taken a limited number of overnights over the summer and have a plan in place for those.
Liz should be up and running by October.

Tim will be available on certain weekends so please reach out with any requests to see if we can help.

Public Service Announcement: Even if your dog has never done something, doesn't mean he never will. Jackson and I took a little adventure together to the emergency vet today. Let's call it a real bonding experience.

Last night, he ate a sock and I couldn't grab it in time. It was total chaos. We were hoping he would pass it but knew by this afternoon he was not feeling well.

Xrays confirmed the sock was in his belly and he was given meds to help him throw up. Thankfully, that worked and we didn't need further measures.

I've never witnessed any of my dogs being given sleepy juice and it was pretty upsetting. I was allowed in the xray room until he fell asleep. Even while on sleepy juice, the techs got a kick out of his little nub tail wiggling the entire time.

This is the first time Jackson has eaten any article of clothing in the 5 years we've had him.

Are dog scarves a thing? If not, they should be. 😆Crocheting my first sweater for Jackson. It's been a learning process ...

My heart melted with this almost 15 year old Pomeranian. She's deaf and losing her eyesight. First picture is how close she would get to me and last is how well she did with a little bit of patience.
We worked together to figure out a way she'd allow me to touch her without scaring or her snapping at me.
