Briste's Story

Briste came to us in early June. She had been thrown or dumped from a vehicle and suffered from a fracture on her left rear leg and on her pelvis. One of our staff memeber has been fostering her during her recovery. She has needed to have her left rear leg amputated. With her disability we need this sweet girl to go to a home that will keep her safe and indoors. She is about 3 months old, is fully vaccinated, microchiped, spayed, and is finishing up recovery from her amputation. She gets along well with dogs and other cats. Again, because of her disabilities she will need to stay indoors only.

She will be adopted out through Paws 4 Life, but will remain in foster care. Please let us know if you're interested in meeting this sweet baby and we can set up a day!

She would love to go to her forever home 🐾🤍

Clayton Veterinary Hospital has partnered with Paws 4 Life to spay and neuter our community's pets. Surgeries will start in July. Paws 4 Life will handle all scheduling, transporting, and invoicing of these procedures. If you want to set up a spay or neuter, please call (706) 782-5422.

Meet Zoey, our newest team member! She's settling in well at the vet clinic, despite being new to the job. She enjoys cuddling pets post-anesthesia, cleaning hard-to-reach areas, and chatting with the staff. We're confident she'll be an integral part of CVH! 😺💙💛
