So my name is Bandit, a GSD, and I Joined HMP cause, well, I really don’t know why. I mean, yeah, I peed on the couch, was afraid of strange things, wasn’t great on walks, wasn’t… ok, ok. So I get why I joined HMP. But!! I don’t do those things anymore! HMP helped a lot, but what helped the most was my partner in crime, the guy who adopted me. I was so lucky to be adopted by someone who respected me as a dog, and was not hell bent on me respecting him. He saw me for who I was and worked with me each day accepting me for who I was - that day! I’m the luckiest GSD in the world to have found the perfect survival partner. Through the good and not so good, we’re doing this together❤️

Hi - I’m Kali😊 I’m a Border Collie, and I specialize in algebra and epigenetics. For all those who thought HMP had disappeared, he didn’t go anywhere. I’m a lean mean fightin machine, until I get to know you, and then I lick you all over:) My hobbies are counter surfing, pulling on leash, not listening, jumping up on people, and paying attention to everything. Hey, I’m Sadie, a Golden Retriever. I joined HMP for just a few reasons. I joined because I jump on people, and because I pull during walks. Oh - and I counter-surf. Oh yeah - and I don’t always come when I’m called. One more thing - I don’t always listen. Now that I think of it, I also put everything I can find in my mouth when walking, and… forget it. I guess it’s more than a couple of things. But! I can say I’m getting much better at “my couple of things.”😊

Hi! We are Dutton (left) and Dallas:) We are Labs and we are brothers. We are happy to see you always, or not, but we will rush the door to see you every time. I guess we get too excited sometimes, and when that happens we just can’t stop. We want to love you, but we just have to make sure about you. Then came HMP and come to find out, we don’t have to get so excited. As a matter of fact, we are learning that most of the time we can let our human Mommy and Daddy handle the situation and just mind our own business! Whew! That’s a load off our shoulders😊

So I don’t have a forever name or home yet, but I was just hanging out with Uncle “G” from HMP. He come to see me and my 9 brothers and sisters (we are 3 weeks old), and my 10 cousins (who are four weeks old). What? It’s time to train again? Ok - my name is Nabe, and I’m a Bullmastiff, and I’m a clown. Nothin but jokes with me:) I started with HMP cause, well, I’m a puppy, and I do puppy things. I’m learning how to make good decisions, and live in the human world. I have a big advantage because my Mommy and Daddy really care about me. Hi - my name is Finn, and I’m a German Shepherd dog. I met HMP when he came and rescued me from my adopted parent who didn’t want me anymore (I’m on the site when HMP picked me ). My parents before that cut off a piece of my ear because it had gangrene. Needless to say, I’m afraid of most things, and my confidence is pretty low. That is until I was again adopted by wonderful people who actually love me, and they enrolled me with HMP. I’m learning how to go on walks without being afraid. I’m learning how to trust my owners, and they are learning how to talk to me in ways I can understand. Life is so much better since feeling so much real love😊

I’m only 14 weeks old, and on my first day I was like, middle? 5 seconds later, I’m in Middle. Recall? 5 seconds later I got it. Be patient? 10 seconds later, I’m patient. Hey - my Name is Amos, and I’m a Labradoodle. I like taking my owner for walks. I go left, they go left. I go right, they go right. I pull, they walk faster. It was a great system - until - HMP. So they claimed that a walk with your dog is not about control, but it’s about communication. Like talking through the leash, and actually having a conversation while I walk with my owner! It’s actually fun when I thought about it and experienced it:) I think I kinda like the idea:)

What’s goin on! My name is Diesel, and I’m a Golden Retriever, and I like to PARTY!! We going for a walk? Let’s party! We gonna eat? Let’s party! We gonna sleep? Let’s party! Since I am the party animal that I am, my parents enrolled me in HMP. Come to find out, I don’t have to party all the time! To tell u the truth, it was kind of exhausting. My name is Marcie, and I’m a chihuahua, pit, dachshund, and some other things, mix. But I’m really just a dog. And as a dog, I attack everything. So my name is Rambo, and I’m a 4yr old Pit/Bulldog Mix. Why the name Rambo? Well, cause I’ll go “Rambo” on you if you mess with me! My name is Skye, and I’m a Pit that has to deal with the reputation we have. I do bark at people, but I’m not mean. People may think I am, but I’m not, and I’m highly intelligent. My Mom had me join HMP to see if I can change my image, and show people that I’m actually a pretty loving girl. I really love my Mommy, and I want her to be proud of me. If you ask me, I’m knocking it out of the park with HMP - just sayin😁
