For the next 2 weeks you will find a box in our lobby for any pet supplies you would like to donate to Western North Carolina. The representative is stopping in daily to collect these donated supplies. Feel free to stop in and drop off anything you would like to help those pets in need.
Stonewater Vet also on Tuesday did stock up on a large quantity of emergency supplies which we delivered to a personal friend with a private small plane to help contribute to his volunteer flight yesterday to Western NC.
Our heart breaks for those affected by Hurricane Helene. 💔 Help where you can.

This is Puddle. She was vomiting, and her parents knew to act quickly and bring her to the vet where radiographs were performed. These showed a foreign body blockage, which is a medical emergency. If left untreated, these can lead to death. Luckily for Puddle, Dr. Barta was able to perform emergency surgery and remove the blockage. If your pet is having vomiting, please don't wait to bring your pet to the vet. Sending all the pawsitive vibes to Puddle as she heals.

Apparently, Spectrum Internet and phones are down in our area with an ETA of resolution at 5 pm, when we close. So, unfortunately, we do not have phone access at this time. Announcement:
Today is the first day of our new software system. It should be more streamlined and efficient, but we have to get used to it first! So please be patient with us these first few weeks while we get the hang of it.
