Has anybody noticed if your pup is extra itchy this time of year and especially after the groom? When we wash dogs, we strip the natural oils from their skin. They do replenish, but it can be difficult this time of year because it's so dry. Fish oil can be very effective at helping them replenish those oils naturally. Also, bathing no more than 2 times a month will help them keep those natural oils.

Now that the holidays are quickly approaching, I just want to let everyone know that I will be closed November 28th-December 1st for Thanksgiving and closed December 25th-January 8th for Christmas break. I will be offering a couple of extra grooming days in the two weeks leading up to Christmas and also limited spots available on Christmas Eve. Thank you all!

🚨 Helene Relief SOS: We urgently need 50 pet adoptions by the end of the weekend 🚨 We are receiving requests every day from shelters affected by Helene to take in their displaced and evacuated animals. The affected shelters need to clear animals out to safe areas like Raleigh in order to create room for incoming lost pets so that they can reunite them with their owners. We are working hard to take in as many animals as possible, but we are limited in our capacity to help by space in our facility.

If you have been considering adopting or have been on the fence, consider this a big neon sign: Now is the time to adopt!

These adorable little weenies are 6 weeks old and looking for their forever home. Born 6/24, male is the black one and female is the dapple. Aren't they absolutely adorable? The parents are clients of mine and they are so sweet! Let me know if you're interested!
