We are open today normal business hours. 8 AM to 6 PM.  Some of our parking lot is a little icy, so please be careful arriving.

February 17th 2003 was our Grand Opening, and we had limited supplies our first day, due to a snow storm holding all our packages.

We would like to welcome Dr. Rita Stevenson to our team!

Dr. Rita Stevenson is joining the Plantation Park Animal Hospital team in March 2025. She grew up on Air Force bases in Utah, Alaska, and North Carolina. She attended N.C.State for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees, graduating from vet school in 2012.

Dr. Stevenson is a member of AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and NCVMA (North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association). She has major interest in internal medicine cases but also values the importance of wellness care.

She and her husband, Nathaniel, and young daughter, Stella, share their home with many pets. Their animal family includes 2 dogs, Maeve and Walter, 2 cats, Po and Robin, 2 tortoises, Pistachio and Penelope, 2 crested geckos, Papaya and Pyro, a chameleon gecko, Piccolo, a bearded dragon, Pascal, and a blue tongue skink, Reggie. She enjoys gardening, landscaping outdoors and maintains a large indoor plant collection. Please join us in welcoming her!
