We have a unicorn that will be available next week.

Introducing 1.5 year old male Amour.
He is a frenchie😀😀😀

He is a very friendly guy with no medical issues. If you have ever wanted one, here is your chance.

In order to adopt a frenchie from us, we do require you to purchase accident/emergency insurance for him. We want to make sure that you have the means to take care of this dog if anything ever happens. Too many of these dogs are ending up at the shelter or in bad shape because the people who purchase them from backyard breeders so often don't have the means to care for them.

If you are interested in meeting this guy and/or adopting this guy, please go to our website at Ebarr.org
Find and fill out our application and return it to [email protected]

We look forward to hearing from you. He will be at our adoption event on Sunday December 1st if he isn't scooped up by then.

Reintroducing Brewster

Male frenchi/smallish pit bull
12/12/22
Potty trained and fine in a busy house.

I am a small guy with a big heart. I love to snuggling on the couch, almost as much as I loves playing fetch with my squeaky toys.

Brewster
His back leg will tell you when you hit the sweet spot during morning scratches. The most dainty treat taker and always so polite while he waits for foods.
He is a power chewer, so strong toys are a must. No small children as he thinks he is a chihuahua in size and power, but is built more like a tank. He is a great security system and will keep any house safe from all cats and small bugs.

If you are interested please go to our website at Ebarr.org

Introducing Twinkle
(Available)

This 5 month old Shiba Inu/Spitz mix brought to the Emergency Vet about a week and a half ago severely dehydrated and very emaciated.

What a world of difference 11 days makes. He weight at intake was 8 lbs,and he has gained 5 lbs and is doing wonderful. He is friendly and sweet. He is available and ready for adoption.

We are expecting him to grow to be a medium sized dog.

A big thank you to Antioch Animal Services for being there for these animals and doing their best to get as many placed as possible.

Memorial
We are sad to hear about the passing of Buddy, Ebarr alum 2018 originally named Jordy.
Buddy/Jordy was one of two brothers who were with a homeless person who couldn't feed them properly and couldn't keep them out of traffic. Finally AAS was able to get them out of harms way and into a rescue.

Buddy is owned by one of Ebarr's Board of Directors.
He was adopted into this wonderful family and ended up being in a wedding when his parents tied the knot and became a brother to a little human just about a year ago.

He passed from lymphatic cancer at a very young age (6 years) and although his life was short, he lived a great one.
Our hearts go out to his family who are all missing him now.

Hurt baby doggie in need of our help.
6 month old Baby William

I will be collecting this little man from the shelter tomorrow. He is a young 6 months old squatty hippo pitty who was dropped off at SAGE Sunday 11/10/24. He was dropped due to lameness in one of his back legs. SOUND FAMILIAR?

Rumor has it that he was found at Baldwin Park in Concord dragging his leg around (see video).

He experienced trauma of some kind. We don't know what happened to him, but I can say that he has no road rash from being hit by a car.
AGAIN SOUND FAMILIAR?

I can also tell you. This is another example of a very disgustingly bad breeding so POS can make a profit off the backs of these little dogs, and that didn't help him one bit with this injury. So his genetics along with whatever trauma he experienced quickly become a very bad injury.

From the medical notes:
"This sweet fellow was diagnosed with a left femur (thigh bone) fracture. There is concern for both growth plates of the lower femurs, possible right shallow hip socket (hip dysplasia) as well as two abnormally shaped vertebra (T10, T11). Further clarity is needed before deciding the options for him."

Ebarr wouldn't be able to save this guy alone due to the uncertainty of treatment and the possibility of high vet costs, so I reached out to our friend Len with Stitch In Time Animal Rescue - STAR.
We have made the lives of 3 dogs better when we have teamed up, so here is our 4th.
Together we have saved
BumbleBee
Carl (Zues) & Ellie
All three of these dogs are living their best life and are all spoiled.

Somebody Somewhere knows what happend to William, because he didn't break his femur himself. Again, I urge you NOT to be part of the demand for these micro bullies, bullies, shorties, bully breeds.......Don't allow your friends and family to buy one from some disgusting POS that doesn'twant to get a real job. Breeding needs to stop and the POS need to have consequences.

Please donate if you can and be sure to indicate that your donation is for William.

We had a great adoption event yesterday and many people came out to visit and meet our mascot, Zues (the dog formally known as Carl) and Butter Ball had alot of fans as well, we did a lot of education with him so people know not to feed into this type of abuse by breeding, buying and continuing the cycle of morphing animals so humans can feel cool.

Our two rat terrier were adopted and Butterball has a family that is very interested him for all the right reasons.

Our next event out in Contra Costa County is going to be December 7-8 for the special Petco event in concord. We will be also continuing our dry cat food drive.

We will see you then and will be posting more details.

Introducing ZUES (the dog formally known as Carl)
Come out and meet him today and see his transformation.

*****Share all you want*** and come out and MEET THIS AMAZING BOY TODAY. He is not available for adoption.

Carl has his big boy vet visit a few weeks back and it was a Doozy.
Carl had his ball sack completely removed due to multiple masses, a HUGE mass bigger than his p***s and prepuce together was removed, a mass on his back as well as another in his groin area, he had a large molar that was infected as well as two smaller front teeth removed and ow is nutered. Most dogs whine and moan and grown about just being neutered, this guy went through it and is a very brave guy.

The good news
He has gained over 17 lbs since he was rescued off the streets of Concord by Contra Costa Animal Services and he is very sweet. He is over 80 lbs and still thin, but on his way to a bigger life. He will never spend another 24 outside, it appears by the condition of his body and skin, he lived the the yard 100 percent of the time. He will always have an option to be outside. But he will never be forced to be outside again. He will have soft bedding lay on and he will never be too hot or too cold.

Again, I WON'T sugar coat what we're looking at here. This is systematic neglect. This is years of pain and suffering by the person who had the opportunity to care for him. Someone looked at this dog every day and decided not to feed him and Ellie properly, and not to take care of him. He was not lost out in the woods somewhere, he was in his home being abused. And don't give me "times are hard" bu****it. Every shelter is giving out food, lots and lots of nonprofits are giving out food, and many nonprofits are helping with medical.

There's a few things I know for certain, he will never be out of my care for the rest of his days and the
People that did this to him will suffer a worse fate than the law could ever give them. He's going to heal, and he's gonna have the best day, for every single one of the days he has left.

If you want to help feed Carl, his food is one our Amazon wish list and pictures are here. Hills senior vitality and digestive support.
