💥💥Heads Up!!💥💥Wednesday Nov 8 Dr. Franklin will be at a state wide veterinary conference. The office will still be open from 10am to 4pm. Dr. Franklin will be able to be reached for emergencies by calling the regular number, be sure to leave a message!!

To round out Vet Tech appreciation week we would like to say a big thank you to this guy!! So many times on the weekends or at night you can finding him "teching" for Dr. Franklin after hours. Along with handling IT issues for us, and helping to organize and build furniture. Thank you for all you do for us!

Last but not definitely not least is Kathleen. Most know Kathleen and her white truck. Like an equine Ice Cream truck delivering supplies and medications to all over. This woman is a rock star!! She drives so many miles everyday meeting so many people's needs! Her dedication and knowledge is such an asset and we can't thank her enough!

And then we have Amanda. She joined us this spring and has already had a huge impact on the road with Dr. Amy. From keeping the truck stocked to driving to our clients to assisting with calls, this vet tech has been a wonderful addition to the Country Roads team. Thanks, Amanda, for all you do!

Next up on our tech appreciation is Carolyn! Carolyn has worked as "tech" with us for a few years, taking breaks to be away at vet school. It has been amazing to see her learn and grow in her technical skills that she is now carrying over with her to becoming a Veterinarian. Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and perseverance. You'll be a wonderful Doctor soon enough!!

This week is Vet tech appreciation week. We want to say a special thank you to Trista. She is the office manager but she is also an amazing and skilled technician. Running our animal surgery days and answering questions for clients regarding pets, doing vaccines and nail trims. Thank you for all thr many hats you wear and doing it all with grace, patience, and compassion.

Another confirmed case of West Nile in our area. Are your horses/donkeys protected? 💥💥Guaranteed 💥💥 Did you know the companies will pay for 100% of your horses treatment if they contract Westt Nile? As long as they have been vaccinated by us with in the last year you are 100% covered!!

Did you know!::: prime mosquito season is September, October, and the beginning of November? Yup...and that means that an increased risk for mosquito transmitted diseases. This past week we have had 2 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in our area. Have your horses been vaccinated against it yet this year? Its not too late!!

Signs to look for are Ataxia (wobbly or unsteady), and twitching or muscle tremors.
