Piper's babies are 1 week old today! 🥰 So far everyone is gaining weight well and everyone seems to be quite content! Piper is a great mother and is very attentive and calm with her babies. I am so proud of her and am just so excited to see these little ones grow up! Individual pictures and names to come soon! 😍

I cannot express the emotions I felt after Wyatt had the most stellar run on A course sheep at the PNWHC AKC Fall trial a couple weekends ago. Dang near brought me to tears! He started off the weekend earing 1st place AND High In Trial with a score of 93/100! 🥳🤩🥰 This is a huge accomplishment and compliments our hard work over the last several months. Wyatt earned 3 qualifying runs that weekend which finished up earning his HSAs title for AKC!
We have lots of training to do for next year's trials. We will be working on moving up to intermediate level as well as possibly starting work on ducks and/or cattle, in addition to sheep work.

We had a great weekend at Packleader Farm in Gig Harbor at the ABHCWW AKC Herding Trial! Tilly and Wyatt tried their best and came home with some new legs and a title! We were lucky to have Penpals Photography there to capture some of these great moments!
🤍 Tilly had 3 qualifying test runs and earned her PT title!
🤍 Wyatt came home with his 1st leg towards his HSAS title!
Tilly is our bred by girl out of Chloe and Walker. She has such great talent and looks to have all the parts for an awesome working dog. She is well on her way! 💜
Wyatt is making progress so quickly now and is really teaching me a ton! Cannot thank Leah Otto of Trail Creek Aussies enough for trusting me with this AMAZING dog! 💙

For all my puppy owners - You can earn AKC/ASCA titles from home!
Sometimes I just cannot find time to get ALL dogs I want out trialing at the same time. I am only one person with not enough hands to hold all the leashes! LOL! What is cool though, through AKC and ASCA, you can earn obedience and rally titles virtually!
I got Piper and Tilly out today and set up a novice course in our yard. Both girls have been well started in obedience and rally, but it has been awhile since they have brushed up on their skills. Tilly's video is shown here to give you an idea of what rally is. Each sign has a maneuver we are to complete, then we move onto the next sign in the course.

It has been a busy last few days, seeing all the training puppies off to their new homes! As always, it is just bittersweet. I LOVE spending the extra time with the puppies, teaching them concepts that should help lay the foundation for an excellent future! We definitely had a nice trio of Puppy ROCKSTARS that glided through the 4 week program!
With all the excitement, I failed to get pictures of everyone! But, pictured here is Juno (aka Gracie) leaving with her family today 💜Puppies Mila and Fritz (aka Lady and Clyde) left this past weekend and are settling into their new routines well!
Thank you to everyone who has given our babies such wonderful homes. It makes it so worth it to see them off to bright and fun futures! 😍

We are on a roll! Another great day for the pups at the WA State Obedience Training Club Trial in Enumclaw, WA today! Wyatt earned his last qualifying run to earn his RE Rally Excellent title! ❤️🔥AND both puppy girls also had great runs! ❤️🔥Finchy got her 2nd leg towards her CD Novice Obedience title and ❤️🔥Moxie earned her 1st leg in Rally Novice with a near perfect score of 97!
I am so proud of our dogs - all the hard work is starting to show!
Another great day had yesterday! Moxie earned her last leg towards her CD novice obedience title and Wyatt had an awesome run and earned his second leg in the Rally Excellent class with a score of 95! 🤩
These dogs are truly a blessing and such a joy to train and trial with. We are looking forward to our next obedience trial coming up soon, stay tuned! Big thanks to the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club for hosting a great trial!
👏WOW👏 Wyatt knocked it out of the park again! First trial out, we went for it - two runs with two qualifying scores! Wyatt earned his ASCA Started Trial Dog Sheep title today! I am beyond excited for what is to come with this young dog. It's going to be hard to wipe the smile off my face for quite some time! ❤️

Another 'puppy duty' here on the farm aside from kiddy pool maintenance, is checking in on the chickens! Another favorite for the pups ❤️
The pups really enjoy their walks about the farm, but pretty sure the best part is splashing in the pool on the way back!
It is the last night with 4! Forest heads off tomorrow morning with his new family and we are then left with three little ones (Clyde now named Fritz, Gracie now named Luna, and Lady now named Mila) to complete the 4-week Puppy Jump Start program!
The Puppy Jump Start program is available on a limited basis from each litter, offering owners the opportunity to get their puppy a 'jump start' on obedience training, crate training and potty training. The puppies get multiple, short training and handling sessions during the day, offering a nice foundation for their families to work from once they bring their puppy home at the end of the program!
The beginning of crate training is going well, and the puppies are starting to settle into the new evening routine easily ❤️

Things are becoming bittersweet! First few to fly the nest! Sparrow now Cooper, Hank, and Olive now Sally, all went to their homes today! Lady, now is Mila and will be staying here for the 4 week Puppy Jump Start program, but she got to meet her family today!! The rest of the puppies trickle out over the next week. I am so grateful for such wonderful homes for our babies!
Puppies have learned to use the doggy door quite well! Everyone is having a blast with this nice weather this morning. With all the wind we are having today, we are hoping it'll stay much cooler for a change! Enjoy!

It is always a bit more challenging at this age, the 'sit still' is not something that is recognized just yet 😆Nevertheless, the puppies and I enjoyed each other's company as one by one, each puppy got some individual attention and loves during the process!

It is a busy morning in the puppy nursery and things are sure getting rowdy! 🤣
Today will be a big day for the puppies - they will be going to new and bigger spaces out to the puppy apartment! These little ones will get more space and have access to the outside once they learn how to use the doggy door. Soon to be 6 weeks old, I can't believe they will start to fly the nest in a couple of weeks! Puppy Owners, I will be in touch with you soon to start planning tentative pick up date and time! 🤍
It is much too hot to go outside this afternoon, so the puppies are enjoying a good play session in the air conditioned nursery! Aren't they just a hoot? 😍

Puppies are 5 weeks old! I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by. This bunch is so much fun! They got to enjoy the outdoors today and really got tuckered out with all the running and chasing mom. Missy LOVES playing with her puppies and gave them a good time ❤️

Forest is very spunky with lots to say, always 😆 Clyde is the other end of the spectrum and likes to take lots of naps and likes to lift the right side of his lips, working on his aussie smile already 🥰 I can't wait to see how they grow up over the coming weeks!

It was a big afternoon for the puppies! They had their first meal out of a dish! These kiddos are really smart, they figured this out pretty easily without much assistance. Missy's puppies are usually pretty good at prioritizing where the next meal is at! Enjoy! 🥰😍

Today was a very fun day! Wyatt and I entered into our first AKC herding trial in Maple Valley, Wa - We ran two qualifying tests, earning Wyatt his PT title!
Huge thank you to Nikki, our amazing instructor that has been coaching us along as Wyatt and I BOTH learn, which sometimes can pose challenging 😆 We could not have gotten this far without all her help and support!
I am excited to see where we go from here, this is such a fun sport and the dogs love it!
Puppies are 1 week old today! I cannot believe how quickly time is moving by. Mom is taking great care of them, they are turning into little chunkers! It won't be long until eyes and ears begin to open up!

Big happenings around here!
Our wonderful Missy whelped 9 beautiful puppies on May 28th! So far everyone seems happy and healthy
Some good game of fetch was had tonight! Missy was overseeing the game - She isn't moving a quite as fast these days with her momma belly.. But oh so happy to be out and about with everyone
Wyatt and Tilly got to try working ducks at our last herding lesson! We think that both dogs have good potential to work ducks as well as sheep - I need a little more training myself as a handler to keep up with these talented dogs!

All three dogs earned qualifying legs this weekend! This was Moxie's second trial and Finch's first trial. I am beyond excited and proud of these two 10-month-old puppies' accomplishments! Wyatt knocked it out of the park too, entering up in Rally!

We are very excited to announce we have an upcoming litter! Due at the end of May, Missy is confirmed in whelp to Walker for a very fabulous and versatile litter!
Moxie gets some applause for achieving her first leg towards her CD obedience title this morning at Moses Lake! We got a 3rd place with an awesome score of 190! This was her very first outing to a trial and for only 9.5 months old, I am extremely pleased and proud of her
Wyatt is on a roll! We are sure having a lot of fun lately and all our hard work and training is paying off!
Wyatt earned his AKC Farm Dog Certification yesterday in Maple Valley, WA! 👏 What a fun group of people at the Galt Family Farm, I definitely plan to go back with a few of the other dogs when they are ready.
What a good boy Wyatt! 🤩 Wyatt and Tilly are both working well on sheep and I hope to get them both to some herding trials later in the summer. Lots of good things to look forward to!

Wyatt had a great run despite all the new ringside distractions and brought home another 1st place finish! WOW! Wyatt is well on his way.
