🚨 Warning to All Dog Owners! 🚨

As summer heats up, many of us are heading to local lakes and ponds with our furry friends. But did you know that blue-green algae, found in some bodies of water, can be extremely dangerous for dogs? 🐶💦

What You Need to Know:

• Toxicity: Blue-green algae can produce harmful toxins that are dangerous for both humans and animals.
• Symptoms: If your dog swims in or drinks water contaminated with blue-green algae, they might experience symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, or even seizures.
• Prevention: Always check for algae blooms before letting your dog swim. If the water looks greenish-blue, avoid it and find a safer spot.

Here are our top 3 tips for having fun and safe pool time with your furry bestie:
1) Never leave dogs unsupervised while in the pool swimming.
2) Make sure that they aren't drinking lots of pool water.
3) Make sure your pool is healthy and balanced before letting your dog swim. Increased chemical or algae levels could be harmful if ingested and don't forget to clean out any dog fur that accumulates in the filter.

MJ is a 2-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees with the most handsome long white fur, and he currently weighs in at a whopping 92lbs! MJ is the SWEETEST gentle giant in the world. There's absolutely no dog like MJ out there! All this boy wants to do is be loved on, and love on humans. He loves kids and knows to be gentle with them, same with adults. He would do well with another dog but with a slow and proper introduction. He will also need a slow and proper introduction to a feline friend. MJ really needs a safe and loving environment where he can thrive. Do you think this handsome boy could be the purfect pup for you?
