There has been a recent surge of missing and found pets on Facebook so please share this reminder about microchips. Many of these animals did not have a microchip, this would have been the easiest way to get these furkids home. Please take a minute and make sure the microchip information is up to date for your pet. If you aren't sure who to call for your microchip info let us know. We can scan your pet and let you know who to call. Social media may be everywhere these days but don't rely on it to get your pet home. Keep them safe in every way you can. Let us know if you have questions about microchips.

That's some crazy weather we're having out there! If your dog hates thunder or other loud noises be prepared with Thunder Wunders. Our staff love them and so do our patients! These are over the counter and available in the office or on the online pharmacy.

We have been informed that most of the local veterinary clinics are no longer open to new patients. With that in mind we are asking anyone that is a new client to please email us your records before calling to set up an appointment. We are getting so many phone calls we cannot possibly keep up. You can either obtain your records and send them to us or ask your previous vet to forward those records to us at [email protected]. Once we receive your records we will review those and call you to set up an appointment.

Unfortunately we are still having issues with no call/no show appointments. Moving forward there is a $25 no show fee in place and at our discretion repeat offenders will be dismissed from our care.

With the heat advisories in place this week remember to keep your pets safe. Remember hot and humid weather is extra dangerous for brachecephalic breeds and dogs with heart disease so extra precautions should be take for these pets.

The office will be closed for appointments on June 6th through June 11th. The office will be completely closed on June 7th. A receptionist will be available some limited hours but it is best to call ahead before stopping for any pick ups.

Unfortunately we have seen a recent increase in missing pets or found pets being brought to the office in hopes they are microchipped. Most microchips are free to register so be sure to take this step. Microchips also double as proof of ownership so you can purchase a lifetime license.

There are lots of strong opinions about declawing, while this is a procedure we are still offering we want to make sure all our clients have the proper information and do not make this decision lightly.

The office will be closed for appointments 5/15, 5/16, and 5/17. We will return to normal hours Monday 5/20. We will have staff in the lobby for limited hours these days, approximately 10 am to 2 pm but please call before stopping in as the hours may fluctuate.

As it gets warmer outside please remember even on an over cast day temperatures that seem comfortable to us can become life threatening to a pet very quickly. It's best to leave pets at home or use pick up options at the store and not leave your pet unattended in the car.

Unfortunately the office will be closed this Friday, we will have the lobby open from 10 until 2 pm on Monday 3/18 and Tuesday 3/19. We will be back to normal hours on Wednesday.

With the doctor being out this week we will be reducing our hours. The lobby will be open 10 til 2 each day this week. Please call ahead for all medication refills. We will continue to monitor the Facebook messages and emails as much as possible. Thank you again for your kind words and patience.

Unfortunately our doctor will be out of town 2/8 through 2/13, due to these circumstances the office will be closed completely 2/8 and 2/12.

The lobby will be open for medication and food pick ups 10am to 2pm on 2/9 and 2/13.

To avoid delays please try to notify us of refills by Wednesday 2/7.

Please allow yourself extra travel time today. 322 is shut down at the Golden Rod Bridge due to construction but I80 east bound experienced a major accident and is currently shut down between Woodland and Kylertown causing some severe delays around the Clearfield and Woodland exits. This is greatly affecting anyone traveling from Philipsburg.
