Many of our birds and squirrel nests are down from the hurricane. Please make sure that any young animals really need rescuing before you try to handle them. Also, if you find kittens, the mom might be relocating them one at a time. Give mom a chance. Call one of the agencies below in the post before you try to drop wildlife off at a local veterinary ER. Vet offices are stressful places for wildlife.

Meet some of my pet parents and pet clients that made it out to Pawfest on Sunday in Largo. There are a couple families missing, but I should have their pet photos soon. Those that walked around with one of my vests were treated to a mini relaxation massage. One of my pet parents worked my booth better than I did. Thanks to everyone for their support.

Meet Tyson. 80lbs of love. This 11 year old has been getting his therapeutic massages for over a year. Massage helps him stay active and keep playing at the beach, which is his favorite thing to do with his pet parents.

I'm often asked the question, "how do you get the dogs to lay still on a table for a massage?"
Answer: I don't!
I don't use massage tables and I allow the dog to move around if they want to. My dogs are usually on the floor with a mat or a blanket. Small dogs(and some large dogs too) can sit in my lap while I work on them. For large dogs, because I'm tall, I'm often straddled over then or I squat beside them while I work. I do whatever is best for the dog.
Yes, I've been blessed with good knees and years of yoga have paid off.

Our recently adopted 80lb greyhound is now a video star (in his Florida State shirt.) Little did I know when I said yes to taking him on that he had sustained injuries to several muscle groups. Thus, putting my therapeutic massage skills to the test. Progress is slow, but happening.
