And here we have little Leroy. Was the ferry first hatch out of the rescue tank just 3 days after we picked them up. Hatched on 8/18/21 at a tiny 1.06g (most likely due to the eggs being left in the tank with a large heat source before we got them). Currently weighing in at 1.37g

Here we have Casper, who was our second hatch out of the rescue tank. So no lineage is known. He was hatched 9/11/21 at 1.96g, currently weighing in at 2.2g

Our poor rescue gurl Lola laid another clutch today 😔 all the eggs in cups by themselves are eggs we took out of the substrate when we got them (on Aug 15) plus 4 that already hatched, and 2 that were no good. the 2 cups with 2 eggs are the clutches that have been laid since coming here and everyone being separated, so we know a lay date as well as the female they are from. All of these eggs are from only TWO females. These poor girls.

A while ago we rescued a group of 6 crested geckos that were housed in a 55 gallon tank with no where to hide, 4 males, 2 females. We found a ton of eggs in the substrate, those poor girls. Today the 4th egg hatched. I love how they choose violence right out of the egg.
