Feels like it’s been a minute since I had some help! It doesn’t matter what level you get to, or how well you’re doing, every professional has something to learn and improve upon. Upping my own game is something I always strive for and the more knowledgeable and skilled I can become the more I can pass onto my students! I’m grateful could come to the farm today and teach! Rollo felt amazing and it was nice to be pushed and add some more tools to our box!

I started as head trainer at the country day school in Jan 2024 with a few horses and a couple lessons a week. We now have ten horses and around 20-30 lessons a week with endless room to grow and expand. Grateful for this life 🙏

So many first times with rollo over the last 8 years 😯 We did our first intermediate together, first 3*, first advanced, first 4*, first 1.30m at WEC and now clearing 1.40m together. It’s that time of the year! Not looking for custom boots but looking for something that might last longer than 6-8 months. Riding 4-6 horses a day and teaching in them too. Soooooo….What’s your favorite boot? Bonus points if you find me a boot sponsor too 😉

We have an opening for a paid intern/working student!

⭐️ We have an opening for a paid intern or working student position at CDS Equestrian in Largo FL. Work under 4* event rider and 1.30m SJ .

20-25 hours a week. Could be more, could be less.

12 horse barn with lesson horses, privately owned horses and horses in for training.

All duties, including but not limited to stall cleaning, paddock picking, grooming, tacking, untacking, bathing, setting jumps, clipping, raking etc.

Possibility to bring your own horse or take lessons on one of ours.

No housing provided and no pets allowed.

Could be PT or FT

1-2 lessons a week and possibility for additional riding for the right candidate.

Must take initiative, follow instructions, be punctual and be a team player.

Must be at least 18, have a license and reliable transportation.

Lessons spots are filling fast but we have some space for haul-in lessons in the mornings or a couple spots to fill on Saturday!

Our after school lesson spots are quickly filling, but we do have some mid-late morning openings for haul-in lessons M-F or Saturday! I’ve basically had no experience riding or training a mustang, but if they all went like this I’d have a barn full! Polkadot will be spending a couple months at Country Day School Equestrian for some training! He’s 5 and had a lovely start with Epona Mustangs and I’m thrilled to continue his training! JOB OPENING at Country Day School Equestrian in Largo FL.

PT with the potential for FT. First and foremost we are looking for a barn worker, so must have *some* horse experience. Job duties will include but not limited to feeding, turn in/turn out, stall cleaning and picking paddocks. Shifts are typically 7-11am or 2pm-6pm. Anywhere from 7-10 horses, all well behaved and easy.

****Job could also include some grooming, some light riding, and/or teaching for the right candidate.

Looking for a hard working, punctual, and motivated individual. Must have reliable transportation and pass a background check. Competition pay.
