The dogs enjoyed beef, and pork today. And the cats will be having fish for breakfast.
Thanks to all the amazing donations of meat given for them. Crockpot has more beef and pork chops in it for tomorrow.

Yall are amazing and really came thru for the critters. They are truly enjoying meat and very little dry processed kibble.

Dog had his surgery today.

I know i ask a lot. I was called on an emergency situation with a hurt dog. He has an owner who loves him. But like everyone, sometimes we just need help. He's at my vet.
His name is Dog.
His surgery needs to be done today. As soon as i get the invoice I will add in the comments.
Please help if you can.
I don't want these amazing people to loose thier dog over this. They also just adopted the kitten that had to have her leg amputated a couple months ago.

Made all the dogs and cats a crock pot full of deer meat today. Everyone has full bellies, and I think they were smiling. Got another crock pot full on low cooking for tomorrow.
Everyone that donated meat to them, we so much appreciate it.
The dogs send slobbery kisses and the kitties, are purring and making " biscuits" for all of you.
They had very little processed foods today, and it's so much better for them.

Leelee has to sleep in a kennel or he likes to lift his leg at night. But this is a full belly, happy boy tonight.

Edit. We received the funds to get a big bag of chicken free dog food, and with the meat it should last weeks at least. Since it's only the one dog. Thank you all so much!!!

We raised enough to get the wet dog/ cat food. And dry dog food.
We are still in great need of dry cat food.
And we have one dog that has to have chicken free dog food. And the pallet of dry We were able to get is all chicken based.
We have enough funds left to get the dry cat food. But not the dog food.
We can pick up at tractor supply cleburne.
Or amazon has it also

We have such an amazing amount of meat donated for the dogs and cats. And they are absolutely loving it!!! Thank everyone so much.
Yesterday they had brisket. Today ground turkey.
Tomorrow deer is on the menu.

As of 4:02 pm Friday (today) we have received no donations. I know there are so many in need. Like most other rescues we are struggling.
If our amazing followers each donated $1, can you imagine what we could get done. And probably for a few months. We also have the opportunity topick up reduced price dog and cat food tomorrow and we are in desperate need of help.

An amazing lady called in a $200 payment to the vet. And we so appreciate it.

This week's $5 Friday will be going towards the cost of shots. Heartworm meds. Flea and tick preventive.
These are some of the most costly things we purchase.
Every dollar adds up and enables us to do great things for the animals, with keeping them healthy.

If anyone has any meat in thier freezers, that you don't want. Maybe a lil too old for humans. I will be more than happy to take it off your hands. The dogs and cats will love it and help reduce the processed food they eat. Today, they had deer and hamburger meat a lady donated and they are just happy as can be. I cook for them most days. So I'd love to have any you no longer want.

We are still planning a yard sale to benefit the animals. Was suppose to happen months ago, between my health and time I just couldn't get it done. All this time we have had amazing things donated, and have collected many things.
We are hoping to do this toward the end of February beginning of March. With the items we have should be a huge selection.
All the proceeds go to the animals.
We are still taking donations.

Home baked fresh desserts.

The kitten that needs amputation, bill has been covered. So happy about that.

This week after almost 4 years, and his rapidly declining health. The amazing Champ, crossed over to the other side. He was older when we trapped him, where he had been dumped in a cemetery. Heart damage from the heavy hw load he had and age. He lost use of both back legs.
Champ was a special boy. He smiled and chatted his teeth to talk. He loved to be brushed and shaved down in the middle of summer. He lived life to the beat of a drum only he understood.
I will forever miss you my friend. You were such an amazing big guy and mother loves you.
Wait for me there with the others, I'll be there soon.
