We will be offering Free microchips (which includes registration) for Cleburne city residents. It's $5 for non-city residents. To have your pet microchipped, you MUST provide current proof of rabies vaccination at the time of service. Appointments are required!

TCAP will be here Today Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon. All dogs must be on tight leashes (no retractable leashes) for the safety of your pet and other clients and their pets. All cats must be in a hard-sided pet carrier. No appointments are necessary.

Did you know TCAP has moved to a closer location? TCAP is now located in Joshua at 106 Conveyor Drive, Suite 100. They are open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon for walk-in services.

Cleburne Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter and animal control facility serving residents of the City of Cleburne. Our mission is to provide animal related services to the City of Cleburne residents, promote pet adoption and spay/neuter, and educate the public on responsible pet ownership all while providing excellent customer service. The services we provide include, but are not limited to:


  • Impound and sheltering of stray, unwanted, or abandoned animals

  • Bite investigations and Rabies control

  • Enforcement of City ordinances and State Laws regarding animals
