EYE ON MY FRECKLES at SVCC on Jan 11, 2020.
This is my mares best run yet! We’ve been working on our attitude & she’s starting to push harder for me. She ran a 16.5 placing us in the bottom of the 2D right next to my gelding! Just a little more hard work & we’ll be in the top of the 2D🤩

BR POCO ROYAL KING at SVCC on Jan 11, 2020
My gelding made me really proud! He ran a 16.6, placing us in the bottom of the 2D. With a little shaping up, well be in the top soon! ❤️

Here’s a run that I’m really proud of! For the longest time, my 19 year old gelding Poco had shouldered his barrels really bad, and I felt as if he was too fast & strong for me to be able to “fix” it. Instead of trying to fix him, I looked at a lot of my videos and figured out what I needed to do as his rider. I worked on how I placed my hands & where I was guiding his body. I taught him that when my hands are forward, we run forward, no matter where the barrel is. Many times before a run now, I catch myself telling him “run to the fence!” And now I’m so proud I’m able to put together a really nice run on my favorite horse.

At the BRAT ASSN Fall Fling, I pulled a check on not one, but both of my horses! & even brought home a buckle too!

Here are a few horses I rode & trained while I was working for a ranch a while ago! Many of these horses were being ridden by me for a month or 2 at a time. All went home to happy owners, and the rescues were all rehomed & given a second chance!

This is El Dee! He’s a 17.3 hh jockey club gelding I rescued him from Kaufman Kill Pen a while back! At first, he was weary of everything from being in a pasture to loading in the trailer. He’s come so far already! I take him to the arena to ride & use for lessons now. He’s been started on barrels & other play day events. He loves trail rides. The other day we took him & another horse of mine on a 6 mile ride down the backroads. He’s gotten used to arena work, trails, barrel races, different arenas, cars, dogs, and is finally a dream to load in the trailer! His progress makes me so proud.

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve logged into this page, but I’m finally ready to get back into business! I’ll be posting a few videos & pictures of horses I’ve been working with since I’ve been gone. If you or anyone you know needs a trainer, shoot me a message!
