🆘 TERRIFIED BOY TRAPPED TODAY HAS NOWHERE TO GO!!

We received the following message, “Any experienced dog trappers? This boy has been hanging around our school for a few days on the playground but runs off when approached. He has lesions on his back legs and is limping. 😭 Our principal isn't letting kids go outside for recess until he's gone. Animal control hasn't been able to trap him, apparently. He isn't aggressive whatsoever, he just seems terrified.”

Of course, our experienced Search & Trap team stepped up & trapped this boy. He is shaking so much out of pure fear.

What he needs now, to literally SAVE HIS LIFE, is a FOSTER HOME. We have the tools & resources to help, but we need a foster to take him in.

Otherwise, he is going to have to go to Fort Worth Animal Care & Control, where he WILL be quickly euthanized for behavior.

HAPPENING NOW: We are working with Center Valley Animal Rescue, other rescue organizations, and law enforcement on a large-scale case of animal cruelty and hoarding involving 74 animals. Multiple species were found at the property and the animals were kept in deplorable conditions. We brought 10 dogs, 7 sheep, and 14 goats back to our sanctuary this week, and we assisted with transporting many more to safety.

Our veterinary team is treating the immediate medical needs of the animals in our care, including malnutrition, dehydration, and severe fleas. Many of the goats and sheep are pregnant.

The animals are considered "live evidence" in an active criminal case so we cannot share photos or more details at this time. We are working to get them stable and healthy.
