Tuesday's barrel race was the last for year at Clements. We'd like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that came out over the summer and supported the Clements Buckaroos. We have such a great group of barrel racers, family of barrel racers, and spectators that come back year after year.

This year we added a Youth class and we would like to thank Jennifer Bonesteel at Lee's Feed in Lockeford for donating awards to the Youth D winners at each race. Everyone loved their prizes.

We also have quite a group of volunteers that are not Club Members and we could not do these races without you: Jenny Sherbo, Regan, Zoey, Becky and Bennett Kolano, Amy Taylor, and Rhonda Balzhiser. Thank you for stepping up over and over to help make the races go smoothly. We appreciate you.

Several of our own Buckaroo Club Members also came out and helped put these races on: Debbie Anderson, Kendra Hesseltine, Sally Rivera, Rayanne Currin, Payton Smollinger, and Brian Gideon.

The biggest thanks we can give goes to our ground crew: Tom Jones, Justin Smollinger, and Alex Jones. Every barrel racer knows how important the ground is and these guys spend so many hours watering and working the ground before and during the race to ensure it's safe and consistent each and every race.

We were able to bring back the Buckle Series this year; thank you to the Harman Family for sponsoring the buckles made by Gist. We also received prizes donated by Lucky Chuck and Formula 1 Noni. Congratulations to all the winners!

Thank you again for spending some of your Tuesday nights (and a couple other days) down at Clements. We hope to see you all back next year.

What a great race Tuesday night to end our Buckle Series. Congratulations to our race winners: Open - Sandra Sirizzotti on DSR Rachel's Gotta Gun with a 17.745, and Youth - LaRae Mohamed on Mesa with a 17.982.

Thank you to all the help at the race, both club members and volunteers: Tom and Alex Jones, Justin Smollinger, Brian Gideon, Rayna Currin, Rosana and Gia Sterni, Amy Taylor, and Rhonda Balzhiser.

We gave out a special award to our youngest barrel racer, Riley Griffin. Riley is 5-years old and entered just about all of our races riding her big, beautiful Palomino. She progressed each race and even went a little faster at the end coming home, each time with a big smile. Can't wait to see you next year Riley!

We will be taking pictures of our Buckle Series Winners so if you're in contention, please stick around. If you're a winner and you cannot stay, please make arrangements to pick up your prize.

If you’re entering a Youth remember to select pre-draw so you’re not there so late. Enter at www.saddlebook.com.
Late draw will be done at 6:30p. Entries taken until 7:30p and will go at the end of the draw.

Next Tuesday, September 10, is the last race of the buckle series at Clements. Here's this list of those still qualified. You must attend 6 races out of the 8 so if you've only got 5 you need to come Tuesday to stay in it. We'll be taking your best 6 runs to figure your average time. Great race today, thank you everyone for coming out. Katrina Dugo on Ernesto won the Open with a 17.813. Kaycee Knott won the Youth on Runaway N Dash with an 18.050. Thank you to Lees Feed Lockeford for donating the fabulous headstalls to today's Youth D winner.
