I was always fascinated by my grandpa’s stories about Vietnam. The effects of Agent Orange were evident in him, and he really was a true war hero. Here at Sissy’s, we recognize that freedom isn't free, and we are incredibly grateful to our veterans and their families for their sacrifices.

My eyes are a bit misty as I write this. We adore Broly so much, and if we didn’t already have four pets, we would gladly welcome him into our family.

Broly is an amazing Pitbull Terrier, approximately 2-3 years old and weighing around 50 pounds. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and gets along wonderfully with children and other animals. This playful pup loves playing tug of war, snuggling, and soaking up the sun. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, his owner needs to find him a new home by November 27th. We would be incredibly grateful if you could help spread the word so Broly can find a loving forever home. We will be carefully vetting potential adopters to ensure he goes to a safe and caring environment.

Vacations over, but rescue never is. Introducing the newest intake, Meg. This sweet sea cow 🐮 is roughly two years old, house and crate trained and dog friendly. She lived with a smaller dog and has been introduced to dogs her size and larger at the rescue and has done fine. She has been professionally trained but I will see that she gets a refresher course before going to her forever home. She is petite at 45-50 lbs. Shar pei/ Pittie mix I believe.
