MEET BUCHI!

Buchi is is a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she will follow you around asking for cuddles. She loves chasing her brother Duque around the backyard and enjoys laying on the grass. She is starting to understand potty training and goes out every 2-3 hours potting right away in the grass; however, she is not quite there yet. Get your applications in, we’re sure you won’t regret it.

Buchi is a Female Terrier Mix that was born 12/7/24. As of 1/25, she weighed 3 lbs.

February is Love Your Pet Month and District H Council Member, Mario Castillo has graciously offered to cover the cost of our mobile unit from 2/23-2/25. This means anyone residing in District H can get their cat or dog (under 60 pounds) spayed or neutered for only $20 during these dates. Moses Deserves a Chance

This is Moses. He’s just a baby—only about two months old. He was being given away to anyone who would take him, with no concern for where he might end up. A kind foster stepped in, afraid he’d be dumped, simply because he’s a black pup.

Now Moses is safe, but his future is still uncertain. He desperately needs a rescue, a foster, or—most of all—a family to love him. He didn’t ask to be unwanted. He didn’t ask to be born into a world that sees him as disposable.

We are providing his current vaccines, dewormer, prevention, and food to ensure he gets the care he needs while he waits for his second chance. MEET BROOKIE!

Hey there. I’m Brookie. I’m a curious and independent puppy with beautiful markings and soft fur. I love attention and eye contact, and sometimes I’ll cuddle in my foster mom’s lap. Generally, though, I’d prefer to be on my feet doing things. My favorite things to do are climb on or in Amazon boxes, tear up newspapers, and run around the backyard. I’m generally a quiet pup, unless I’m playing with Pringles. We make a lot of puppy grunts and little barks when we play. Sometimes I whimper or howl, but it's brief and usually to inform my foster mom that I need to be let out of the crate to p**p. I never p**p in my crate and have never p*ed in my soft dog bed. If I need to p*e, I’ll use the puppy pads beside my bed in the crate. I sleep all night long without a p*ep.

Brookie is a Female Great Pyrenees/Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 12/11/24. As of 2/1, she weighed 7.6 lbs.

CHECK OUT TIMMY'S UPDATED BIO AND CUTE NEW PICS!

Hi, my name is Timmy. I am just a puppy, so I am very playful and have lots of silliness and cuteness to go around. I love to give kisses as well as play with my dog toys. I spend a lot of time entertaining myself, but I do need some attention from time to time. Since I am a puppy, I do like to chew, but as long as I have a chew stick or a chew toy I will leave your shoes and socks alone.

I am crate trained and will sleep through the night except for the one time I will ask to be taken outside for a potty break. Once complete I go right back to sleep. I love food and eat all my food at each meal. As long as you are diligent about taking me out throughout the day I have very few accidents in the house. But I am a puppy, so not perfect yet, but my foster parents say I am progressing nicely.

I seem to have pretty big paws, so I will probably on the large size when I finish growing. You might want to keep that in mind for the future. That’s really the only reason my foster parents probably won’t adopt me. But even when I am full grown, I promise to be cute, silly and fun to have around.

Timmy is a male Hound mix with an estimated date of birth of 11/15/2024. As of 1/25, he weighed 17.6 lbs.

MEET CIRY! 💜

Meet Ciry! This sweet 8-year-old, 14 lb Maltipoo is ready to find her forever home. Though she’s a bit of a senior, Ciry has so much love to give and is full of personality. After undergoing three surgeries in 2024 (2 hip surgeries and an eye removal), she’s shown incredible resilience in her recovery and is now looking for a loving family to call her own. Despite all she’s been through, Ciry is still as sweet as can be and loves to be close to her humans.

Ciry is potty trained and knows some basic commands, making her a great companion. She prefers to do her business on walks but is currently working on quick backyard trips. Though she can be a little anxious at times and may make some growling noises, she truly thrives in a calm and nurturing environment. With patience, she opens up and becomes an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion. Ciry does like to let you know when she sees someone or hears something new, offering a few barks to show off her keen hearing!

Ciry can be a bit picky about her human companions and tends to form a special bond with one person in the household, showing a preference for that individual over others. She’s also not a fan of sharing food with other dogs, though she can tolerate them in the home, especially if they’re respectful of her space. She enjoys walking with other dogs, but she definitely likes to do her own thing when it comes to food and attention.

As a Maltipoo, Ciry has a beautiful coat that requires regular grooming to keep her looking her best. Someone who is ready to keep up with her grooming needs will be a great match!

Ciry is seeking someone who is patient and loving and can provide her with the stability and attention she deserves. She’d be happiest in a quieter, one-story home where she can enjoy short walks, cozy cuddles, and plenty of affection. A home without children would be best. If you’re looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion with a heart of gold, Ciry might just be the perfect fit for you!
