For our second day of Adventure-Time, we started the drizzling morning off with a walk on the towpath. BPL was supposed to take me back to the kennel afterwards, but she told me she was having so much fun with me that she was going to hog me for the afternoon too.
So once the rain stopped, we made our way to Bridal Veil Falls in the Bedford Metroparks because BPL knows how much I love the swimming pool and thought I might get a kick out of splashing around in the creek. And she was right! It's a lot different than the kiddie pools (dirty and rocky) but also way more interesting (tiny falls and weird things to looks at). It was such a fun time!
And then we hiked again to dry off and I found BPL this mushroom which I was kind of like whatever about but she was all OMG because apparently it's a lion's mane mushroom (which I kind of see why it's called that, if the lion were all white and made out of fungus).
Afterwards she treated me to some chicken nuggets for my excellent mushroom-hunting which were A++++ delicious.
It was a great day and I know we both were sad when I had to go back to the kennel. But hopefully I'll find an adopter who also likes adventure-time. And chicken nuggets. (And maybe less mushrooms. 😁)
