Unstoppable Charlie is still looking for his forever fetch partner!!! 🐾🐶
Want to make this sweet, 7-month old tri-pawd a part of your home? He is ready when you are! Apply at https://www.neocr.org/adoption-process 🩷
Sometimes, as a human, it's hard to not see amputation for a dog as being the incredibly traumatic experience that it is for a human. This video shows Charlie- doing a heckin' good SIT! for the first time! This may not seem significant for a 7 month old- but- Charlie couldn't do a sit before because it was so incredibly painful for him. He doesn't miss his leg- he's thankful that burden is gone and he gets to be the happy little dude that he is!
If you would like to learn more about life after amputation in pets- there is a great resource- check out the Tripawds website for wonderful info. Also, Tripawds provides a donation matching program that can help us with the costs of Charlie's surgery!
Here's the link to Charlie's fundraiser that also has all of his update for his journey!

Max is super-duper thankful to the transporters who sprung him from the clink to bring him to NEOCR on this absolutely beautiful day! He doesn’t think it could have been a more perfect day to enjoy grass under his paws and to play with his new fren!
