Happy 6th Birthday to us!
Yesterday we hosted one of our typical Sunday pack walks, but it felt a little different. For starters, six years ago pack walks were held indoors, but at a completely different space that we rented out for pack walks only. No training took place in that space - just people hanging out, training their dogs, and creating the foundation to a bigger community.
The following year we moved into our first training center off State and Cypress where the indoor walks unfortunately came to an end due to size constraints. During our time there we hosted an open house, built meaningful relationships with clients and their dogs, met some clients turned best friends, continued to build our dog training knowledge, navigated a new business during COVID shut downs, fostered a few dogs, and brought our first apprentice on.
Fast forward to yesterday, we realized that two of the people at the pack walk were two clients (turned employees) that were there from the very start at the original building, our then apprentice is now one of our full-time dog trainers, and we had two clients that made the move with us from the old building to our new space. We also had a former board and train (a service only offered in the new space), along with a person who was joining us for their first pack walk.
Yesterday’s pack walk was a full circle moment of all the changes we’ve undergone over the last six years, and how the best of clients and friends remained with us through it all. We appreciate every client and dog that has stepped through our doors, anyone that has taken the time to recommend us to family, friends, or strangers, those that have taken the time to leave a review, and our repeat clients that keep showing up for us year after year. It doesn’t matter if you met us six years ago or six weeks ago, we’re happy to have you here with us.
