Excited to have just received my new Bat Box which I will be hanging in my yard. Did you know that bats eat 600-1000 insects an hour (up to 5000 a night!). Not only mosquitoes, but they’ll also pluck tomato hornworms, cucumber beetles, codling moths, earworms (like the kind you find in corn) and stink bugs so they are very beneficial for your garden.

Garden put to bed for the winter and garlic planted. We should have around 500 bulbs of garlic (6 different varieties) come next July!

All three hives are doing well. We just harvested 170 lbs of fall honey!

Some sad news to report. Bam Bam recently passed away (natural causes). She was everyones favorite!
