Betty is a curious girlie who likes visitors but doesn't like people getting too close. She would thrive in a home with places to climb and windows with a nice view to watch out of.

Bramble Jamble is Mandy's absolute favorite right now. He's not scared of people. He just has more important things to worry about (I feel you, buddy). He can be sweet and playful, but he's mostly just a curious little guy.

We've had a bunch of cats go home this past month and we're incredibly thankful to all of the wonderful people that have not only adopted, but have spent time in the lounge and have supported us by partaking in the drinks and snacks at the cafe!

We've curated the coziest vibe.

Bring a book, Steamdeck with Stardew, a reusable travel mug, or just good energy and settle in for a good time. We gave day passes on the weekday mornings, so stay a while!

It's the perfect place to hide away for a bit. The coffee is always good for a dopamine hit, too.

When we put in shelves in the back room, we actually thought we'd be using them for storage. How naive.

Spooky is OVER IT. Someone should come and save this 10-year-old senior boy and give him a quiet, loving home.

You can usually find him hiding under the gray lounge chairs in the back, but he LOVES neck scratches as long as you approach respectfully!

The adoptions are continuing to go at a breakneck pace, so hopefully, he'll get scooped up, too!

As Cleveland’s first cat cafe, affoGATO’s mission is to improve our city by creating a safe, comfortable haven for adoptable cats, cultivating a fun and inclusive space for cat-lovers to work and play, and teaming up with other local businesses and artists for the betterment of the community as a whole.

For our commonly asked questions, such as how reservations work, our policy on children, employment info, and where the cats come from, CLICK HERE.

We provide a safe home for adoptable cats. You can then pay a small cover charge to relax, work, and enjoy coffee and snacks with these friendly felines. We partner with several local businesses and artists in order to host fun, unique events and produce food, drinks, and merchandise.

Benefits for Cats

Gets cats out of cages and into a fun, open space with lots of playtime and snuggling.

Cats that don’t photograph well can meet potential adopters face-to-face.

Cats that are no longer in a scary cage can open up and show off their true personality.

More cats can be rescued! When we host a cat, it frees up a space in our source shelter. And when one of our guests chooses to adopt, we get to celebrate twice! Not only does that cat have a safe, loving home, but now we can help another cat in need!

Our space is flexible to fit your needs. Get in your workout with a yoga class, let the quiet space and caffeine get you in the zone to telework or study, or just enjoy some chill time with cat cuddles.

Cat cafes are great for people who can’t own cats. Some common reasons are dorm or apartment rules, an allergic family member, lack of funds, or frequent travel. Here, you can just spoil them, commitment-free!
